2 Background Introduction Journey to the West is a Chinese novel published in the 16th century during the Ming Dynasty and attributed to Wu Cheng en. It is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. In English-speaking countries, the work is widely known as Monkey King. Rebellion against the Heaven is also known as Havoc in Heaven or Uproar in Heaven. The story is about Monkey King, who rebels against the Jade Emperor of Heaven.

Main characters of the story, Jade Emperor and Sun Wukong will be interviewed in front of the class. Other students will ask them questions. The Emperor also has a chance to talk to SunWukong. The class will try to help Sun Wukong resolve his unfair treatment with the Emperor through peaceful communication. Students will learn how to handle the anger in a positive way.)

Try to think and feel as that character thinks and feels. At the same time, they need to resolve the conflict between Jade Emperor and Sun Wukong. Through the interior monologue, students will establish good communication and learn to avoid the rebellion of heaven.)
