The Introduction of Colors on Chinese Food and Drinks Tzong-Ho Yeh Abstract From the relationships between nature and human beings, food is human being s best activity on the example of nature s humanization. On the other hand, food is showing human being s naturalization on the concept of cosmos. To the whole creatures, human beings interpreted food s activity totally as the only dominator in the world. Chinese food and drinks has long histories and rich contents in traditional Chinese culture that had been forming its food s network as a splendid flower with fragrance. The history of Chinese food and drinks is so-called a struggling history of Chinese people. It refers lots of subjects and information where contains many different fields and food s history of production. Generally speaking, Chinese food s history is a history of five Chinese national peoples communications and a development of Chinese frontier. Colors only inspire on the taste of food might beautify people s vision on the shape of foods to seduce the gourmands inner conscious desire. Thus, a perfect and organic food is presented as an excellent painting work. A cozy and comfortable space is like a colorful sculptured art showing pleasant colorful rhythms. The activity of food and drinks is an exhibition of colors where filling with flavors. Therefore, the art of Chinese food and drinks could be presented by means of right time, right place, and right methods to show its atmosphere and deliciousness as well as adding more valuable appreciation to people. In brief, the new Chinese food s area on ethics means a triangle of Chinese food s colors, smells, and tastes also meaning a kind of connection on people s hearts, eyes, and hands.
