As a symbolic representation of Ahura Mazda winged solar disk appeared successively in Medes kingdom Achaemenid and Parthian dynasty. New variants of the symbolic images ofahura Mazda emerged in Sassan and Sogd and had a single image. From Persia to Sogd and then to China the general trend of the symbolic image of Ahura Mazda is from abstract to concrete from symbolization to idolization. As a symbol of theocracy winged solar disk and other forms of symbolic image of Ahura Mazda have a close relationship with secular royal power.
