Prepare our students for life Promote their thinking and broaden their horizons Owing to the infl ux of digital devices, educators have been trying hard to catch up with the tides since the past two decades. Teachers and students have exposed themselves to different methods of learning. The integration of I.T. with different subjects is effective in facilitating our students to learn. Since there are lots of online soft wares for learning, as facilitators in the students learning process, we have to select the most suitable ones for students to enhance our students to scaffold the language. Learning objectives Our objectives are to promote our students self-learning capability and facilitate students to learn with different soft wares, online resources and digital devices. In our teaching and learning, we are trying to use Clicker 6 to promote our students thinking and broaden their horizons. Clicker 6 is spoken by native English speakers. Students can replay the sound of certain words or sentences in order to learn to speak them. As for reading and writing, many texts with different topics in different levels can be provided, but students may not be sure what to write. Therefore, teachers role is important to structure a lesson/unit that benefi ts students needs and growth by using the software. To pioneer Clicker 6 in our school, I have adopted the advantages of Clicker 6 and have designed a lesson plan to suit students language development. Our student s work Future development of Heep Woh Striving for excellence and enhancing our students to learn are always our priority. We hope there would be platforms for sharing ideas & students work by using different computer soft wares. In addition, arousing our students interests and integrate them into their everyday learning also play important roles in our curriculum planning. Lesson Planning for Primary 4 English Watch Frog s Life Cycle on Clicker 6 Students mime the stages of a frog kinetically as reinforcement. Students suppose a disaster in the pond and it threatens the survival of the life cycle. Students write the problem and the solution with Clicker 6 (with illustration). Presentation Our students had a press conference in British Consulate in February 2015. Ms Kennes Woo Through the inauguration of Clicker 6, my students and I have opened the door of a flipped classroom. My consideration is how the content is to be delivered. Likewise, students have the capacity to explore and acquire the respective skills. They need to learn the language skills as well as digital literacy skills nowadays.
