28 1 9 6 BIBLID (2003) 92:1 pp NATIONAL CENTRAL LIBRARY BULLETIN 2003 no.1 (2003.4) Electronic Journals: A Study of Usage and Attitudes Among Graduate Students Ya-hui Wu Ming-de Wu Abstract This study accesses current level of use of electronic journals, attitudes towards these publication, and user's attitudes toward library's collection development policy of electronic journals by graduate students in College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and College of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University. The different between these two college users are also examined. The results suggest that, the level of usage is high, the percentage of students no using electronic journals is only 7.9%. The percentages of reading and citing this medium are very high. Although most users appreciate this new medium, users don't think electronic journals will replace print journals. This parallel collection development in library should be exit. The usage level and attitudes between these two college students are different apparently.
