Through the organic combination of food supply chain and electronic commerce, food enterprises can ensure the food safety better, deal with the increasingly fierce market competition effectively, and improve the market competitiveness comprehensively. In this paper, the application and advantages of electronic commerce in the food supply chain and food safety were discussed and analyzed, and the concepts of food supply chain and food safety management based on electronic commerce were introduced. Based on the establishment and coordination of information sharing mechanism, the prospects of electronic commerce were introduced and analyzed.
