L Institut Emmanuel d Alzon FRANCAIS L Institut Emmanuel d Alzon compte 5200 élèves dans le Gard répartis sur 4 sites : Nîmes, Beaucaire, Le Grau-du-Roi et Vestric. Et sur différentes structures : Crèche, écoles, collèges, lycées généraux et professionnels, lycée agricole, CFA, CFC, et Enseignement Supérieur (Campus doté de 3 résidences étudiantes inauguré en février 2016). Tous les sites sont équipés des plus récentes technologies et regroupent 350 enseignants et 200 personnels.
L ECOLE FRANCAISE INTERNATIONALE EMMANUEL D ALZON CHENGDU FRANCAIS Les élèves L ouverture de l Ecole Française Internationale d Alzon, suite à un accord avec le Bureau d Education de la Zone High TECH, est prévue à la rentrée 2017 dans les locaux de l Ecole Primaire de Montpellier, école publique chinoise, à Chengdu. Elle s adresse aux enfants des résidants étrangers à Chengdu, francophones ou anglophones. Dans un premier temps, une classe de maternelle et une classe de primaire tous niveaux (du CP au CM2) seront créées. En 2018 une première classe de collège sera ouverte afin d assurer la poursuite de la scolarité des élèves inscrits en CM2 pour l année 2017/2018. Le collège d Alzon ayant vocation à s installer dans les locaux du collège public de Montpellier, qui sera construit sur un terrain attenant à l école, ouvrira dans un premier temps, dans les locaux de l Ecole de Montpellier, en attendant la construction d un futur collège en 2019. L ECOLE FRANCAISE INTERNATIONALE EMMANUEL D ALZON CHENGDU FRANCAIS L enseignement Il est important de souligner que tous les enseignants titulaires de l Ecole Française Internationale d Alzon seront certifiés et diplômés en France. Les cours se dérouleront en langue française. 3 enseignants recrutés pour la rentrée 2017 : 1 en maternelle et 2 au primaire L enseignement suivra scrupuleusement le programme français et sera agrémenté de 3 heures de cours de chinois dispensées par des enseignants chinois de l Ecole de Montpellier aidés par des assistants chinois. L anglais sera également enseigné dès la maternelle, comme en France, par les professeurs des écoles. L Ecole Française Internationale d Alzon entamera au plus vite le processus d homologation auprès de l AEFE (l Agence pour l enseignement français à l étranger) Pour résumer : programme scolaire de l hexagone dispensé par des enseignants titulaires + enjeux multiculturels : apprentissage de la culture et de la langue chinoise et de l anglais dès la maternelle 2
L Institut Emmanuel d Alzon ANGLAIS The 5200 pupils of the Institute Emmanuel d Alzon in the French department of the Gard are split into 4 different sites: Nîmes, Beaucaire, Le Grau-du-Roi and Vestric. They are also divided up in many different educational structures : A day nursery, primary schools, secondary schools and technical colleges, agricultural colleges, vocational training schools and higher education. Our campus offers 3 halls of residence that have been opened in february 2016. Our 4 sites are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and gather 350 teachers and 200 staff members. 3
L ECOLE FRANCAISE INTERNATIONALE EMMANUEL D ALZON CHENGDU ANGLAIS The pupils Following the agreement with the Educational Office of the High Tech Zone, the opening of l Ecole Française Internationale d Alzon Chengdu is expected at the start of the 2017 school year, in the premises of the Ecole Primaire de Montpellier, a Chinese public school, in Chengdu. This school is aimed mainly at foreigner residents children living in Chengdu, who are French or English speaking. At first, a nursery school and a primary school from year 2 to year 6 will be opened. Later, the year 7 class will be created in 2018 for pupils to continue their schooling. The Collège d Alzon will first open in the premises of the Ecole Primaire de Montpellier. Eventually, it will move to the premises of the public junior high school of Montpellier that will be built in 2019 next to the school. L ECOLE FRANCAISE INTERNATIONALE EMMANUEL D ALZON CHENGDU ANGLAIS The teaching It s important to highlight that all the tenured teachers in l Ecole Internationale d Alzon Chengdu will be graduated and certified in France. The courses will be taught in French. 3 teachers will be hired for the 2017 school year: one for the day nursery and two for the primary school. The French educational program will be followed to the letter and 3 hours of Chinese language will be added to the timetable. This course will be taught by Chinese teachers from the Ecole Primaire de Montpellier, with the help of Chinese assistants. Like in France, English courses will start right from the day nursery: the schoolteachers will be in charge. L Ecole Française Internationale Chengdu will start the process of approval to the A.E.F.E.C (Agency for French Teaching Abroad) as soon as possible. To sum up: French educational program by tenured teachers + multicultural concerns : Culture, Chinese and English language in day nursery. 5
