Study on the Application of Chinese Children s Intellective Folk Games to Minimal Accessories YEN,Yu-ming LIAO,Chia-wei CHEN,Tai-yu Abstract Nowadays, everyone wants jewels and adornments to have high quality, graceful appearances and reasonable prices instead of the traditional concept of value maintenance. This study discusses the possibility to integrate the images of children s folk games in Chinese traditional culture into the metal adornments. This study uses the archival analysis, the comparative method and the experimental method to discuss the cultural connotation of the figures and colors of the children s intellective folk games in folk customs through documents and literatures, and takes this cultural connotation as the source of the designing creativity. Additionally, based on the principle of manual processing and limited production, this study uses the hand-made metal stroking method to highlight the fineness and individuation of the jewelry and to create the metal accessories of the images of children s folk games.
