Title of Thesis: The Analysis on the Need of Reading on the Journal of Foreign Lablr for Foreign Labors and their Employers Name of Institute: Graduate of Publishing Organizations Management Institute Sciences, Nan Hua University Graduate date: June 2005 Degree Conferred: M.B.A. Name of student: LIU HAN-CHUNG Adviser: Ph.D: YING LI-CHIH Abstract Duing to the Taiwan manpower worsely lack in part of construction and manufacture, and the requirement as much as thirstly between the people or institutes, so that, Taiwan government opened for importing the foreign labors. But the big difference as language, foods, sanitation, customs etc., between employer and foreign labors, more and all the government policy changed oftenly, the import of foreign labors as much as complex, and also cause much problems. For how legal to hire the confortable foreign labor smoothly, and expect to mentain good relationship between the employer and employee in the hiring period, caused the Taiwan employers to need the relative information for hiring the foreign labors, as much as very thirstly As to the foreign labors, also need to understand more from the relative information about themselves basic rights and working country custom, language..etc., So, this thesis is to reach and deeply analyse for requirement to read the relative publications. And this thesis for detail study, has sended 600 questionnaires to the Taiwan employers, and collected back efficiently 544, most of the responser, hired the foreign labors almost 2~3years. Also sended 1200 questionnaires to the foreign labors, and collected back efficiently 894. The results are following: the Taiwan employers most oftenly got informations from Taiwan manpower company, and second, relatives. As to foreign labors, the relatives is the number one to get the information as they need, the Taiwan manpower company second; The channel, through which both Taiwan employers, and foreign labors best wish to be advised, is the periodicals from Taiwan government, the Taiwan manpower company s periodicals as second. And as the requirement to the specification of periodicals, in order as: monthly copy, 1/2oppersite copy(taiwan employer), 1/4oppersite copy(foreign labors), and two pages. Also the prefer price almost NTD 501 to 1000 for one year; And the topics coverage also very important; The best three important topics in order as: to declare the relative law and regulation from Taiwan government, the according table of constantly used words between Taiwanese and foreign labor s language, report and discussion to the individual case (the case as Employer get III
