A Literature Review on Researches of China's Environmental Politics Since 2010 HUAN Qingzhi Research Institute of Contemporary Socialism Shandong University Ji'nan 250100 China Abstract With a review on researches of environmental politics in China since 2010 the author found that findings in theoretical masterpiece are apparently more solid while foreign masterpiece introduction academic institutes and major academic activities can only be considered as being smoothly progressing without much highlight. Among four major issues in political environment research namely environmental political theory political parties and movement government environmental policy international environmental governance and cooperation the paper found that environmental policy and governance in European and American countries as well as global climate action plan and negotiation undoubtedly attracted most attention and achieved fruitful academic findings in China. Major progress is probably to be made in China' s environmental politics research. On one hand environmental politics has been established as both environmental humanities and social science and branch of comparative politics on the other hand environmental politics as an independent discipline will also face challenges and difficulties in its future development.
