Section 1: Responding to texts 50 marks Attempt Questions 1 6 In Section 1, there are THREE aural texts Text 1, Text 2 and Text 3. To listen to the aural texts, play the CD labelled 2013 HSC Heritage Chinese (Mandarin) examination. The CD contains four tracks: Track 1 Introduction and Familiarisation text Track 2 Text 1 Track 3 Text 2 Track 4 Text 3 After you have listened to the Introduction and Familiarisation text, pause the CD until you are ready to listen to Text 1.
