Based on the semantic features of the VRC, it introduces the boundary p rin2 cip le of the VRC in the p rocess of the argument structure integration, along with various possi2 ble ways to distinguish argument raising, and uses various types at different levels to research into the VRC s argument selection and syntactic arrangem ent. Finally, it discuses the app lica2 ble range of the boundary p rincip le and the conditions for some excep tions to occur. The obvious iconicity in Chinese A simp le Chinese sentence consists of a verbal chunk as the p ivot of the event and several periphery chunks. Chinese, the p reconceived periphery chunks are aligned before the p ivot chunk, but the to2be p reconceived periphery chunks are after the p ivot chunk. Finally the author suggests that the contrast between cognitive models of different nationalities should be subsumed into textbooks of Chinese as a second language.
