English Language Key Learning Area Promote Life-wide learning in English so as to enrich the English learning experience through the following ways, English Society The English Society runs regular activities for all students during lunchtime or after school. This student-run society gives students an opportunity to learn and use English outside the classroom through games and activities. The Committee-members of the society held 6 major activities for their fellow students. 1. Bookmark Design Competition 2. Christmas Gathering 3. Word Games and Posters Making 4. Easter Treasure Hunt 5. Poster Making 6. Film Show: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs The society also hosted 14 lunchtime song dedication broadcast once every third Friday of the week. Students could choose English songs to dedicate to their eachers and riends. This programme was a great way to create language awareness and increase exposure to English pop-culture through the medium of music. 2.
