2 3 BUENOS AIRES CITY TOUR AND DINNER TANGO SHOW Meals: Breakfast / Buffet Lunch / Tango Show Dinner The old Buenos Aires: Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, La Boca and Puerto Madero You will discover Buenos Aires most traditional neighbourhoods. The first stop will be the Plaza de Mayo (May Square), historical scenery of the main political events of our country. Site where the city was founded in 1580, centre of the political, religious and social life of Buenos Aires, surrounded by the Government House, the old city hall, the cathedral, the Central Bank and Economy ministry, the Plaza de Mayo has been witness of the most dramatic and joyful days of Argentina. Taking the historical Avenida de Mayo, to get to the mythical Café Tortoni, the oldest caffé in the Buenos Aires. Througout the years, it has received the most distinguished vistors, writers and musicians, local and foreigners among them, such as Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortazar, Federico García Lorca, Carlos Gardel. Continue the tour in San Telmo, a picturesque area that still preserves its cobbled stone streets, as well as some colonial constructions and of the turn of the century; nowadays there are many antique shops and artist s ateliers. On Sundays there is a Flea Market, bustling with unique artisans and antiques. Continue the tour, to southern La Boca, where you will visit the famous Caminito street open air museum and characteristic colourful tin houses and Boca Juniors Stadium. Buffet lunch at local restaurant. Northern neighborhoods of Buenos Aires: Colon Theatre, Recoleta & Palermo You will experience the contrast with the areas visited the prior day. Start the tour with a drive along 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest one, which features the famed Obelisk. Explore Recoleta district, The Recoleta neighborhood is the hub of the city s aristocracy, where old-money families live in pricey apartments along avenues with soaring French architecture. Discover the Parisian air of Alvear Avenue, the most exclusive fashion shops, luxurious French palaces and the legendary Recoleta Cemetery. Recoleta cemetery is the final resting place of many of the wealthiest and most important Argentine historical figures. Once the garden of the adjoining church, the cemetery was created in 1822 and is among the oldest in the city. It covers 4 city blocks, full of tombs adorned with works by local and international sculptors. More than 6,400 mausoleums form an architectural free-for-all, including Greek temples and pyramids. Duration of the tour: 3 hours 4 BUENOS AIRES (3.25HRS) Meals: Breakfast / Box Lunch / Dinner EL CALAFATE PERITO MORENO GLACIER This morning, pick up at the hotel and transfer to airport for your flight to El Calafate. Arrival at El Calafate for departure to the viewpoint in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. There are seven balconies or viewpoints, located at different heights and distances from the glacier, connected by both paths and stairs. From the highest balcony, you will see the amazing surface of the glacier which is the northern and southern faces. This is the place where on occasions, the ice dam is formed.) 5 EL CALAFATE RIOS DE HIELO NAVIGATION Meals: Breakfast / Dinner Today, sail to the North Arm of the Argentino Lake to reach the Upsala Canal, where we will find a spectacular iceberg Barrier. From there, we will have a panoramic view of the Upsala Glacier. Afterwards, we will navigate the Spegazzini Canal, where we will reach to the front of Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park to observe the Seco Glacier. Remark : Itinerary will depend on local weather condition. The boarding time, in the Punta Bandera Private Port (47 kilometers from the city of El Calafate), will be at 08H30 and the departure will be at 09H00, after the passengers are informed about the safety and sailing conditions. Once on board we will sail though the North Arm of the Argentino Lake to reach the Upsala Canal, where we will find a spectacular Icebergs Barrier. From there we will have a panoramic view of the Upsala Glacier. Afterwards we will navigate the Spegazzini Canal, where we will observe the Seco Glacier to reach the front of Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park. The return to Punta Bandera Private Port will be at 16H00 approximately. **The tour may be modified depending on weather conditions, security and decision of the captain on board. 6 EL CALAFATE (3HRS) BUENOS AIRES Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner This morning will be an exciting day to visit the Glaciarium, which is a modern center devoted to the Patagonian lcefield and its glaciers, one of the few glaciological interpretative centers in the world. Thereafter, visit the GlacioBar Branca which is underground and features beautiful ice walls. Everything is made of ice; the glasses, and the bar, tables and couches are fully made up of glacier ice. After lunch, transfer to airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. GLACIARIUM & GLACIO BAR Glaciarium is a modern center devoted to the Patagonian Icefield and its glaciers, one of the few glaciological interpretative centers in the world. Designed as an environment that promotes knowledge and awakens the senses, Glaciarium seeks to emotionally move the visitor through noble visual and narrative resources. For that purpose a live, interactive and entertaining space was designed, filled with visual and sound stimuli, which fosters the knowledge about the world of glaciers and enriches any visit to Patagonia. By following the current exhibition techniques used by museums and interpretation centers around the world, contents are exhibited in several ways: visual and light effects, multimedia programs and audiovisual presentations. The ice, the glaciers and their formation and the dynamics of their exciting phenomena inspired the architecture and design and encouraged the creative development of texts, scripts, illustrations and images exhibited in Glaciarium. Afterwards, get to visit the GlacioBar Branca, underground and features ice walls. Everything is made of Ice; the glasses. And the bar, tables and couches are fully made up of glacier ice.

Thereafter, enjoy a city tour of Lima covering the Government Palace, Cathedral, Convent of San Francisco, San Isidro and lastly Miraflores. Miraflores is the perfect point to enjoy views of the bay and the Pacific Ocean where it is perfectly combined with the modernity of its constructions with the legacy of ancient Peruvian like the pre-hispanic site of Pucllana. We will visit the private collection of Larco Herrera Museum that is displayed in a beautiful old Republican Mansion built on the foundations of a pre-inca temple. HD CITY TOUR LIMA Half day tour around downtown Lima and its most important architectural constructions from the viceroyalty period including the Government Palace and the Cathedral. During the tour, we will visit the Convent of San Francisco where we will appreciate its priceless pieces of art and its famous catacombs. Afterwards, we will head to modern Lima starting visiting San Isidro, the financial and commercial heart of the city and where it is also located the pre-hispanic remains of Huallamarca. We will continue our tour heading to Miraflores, the perfect point to enjoy views of the bay and the Pacific Ocean and where it is perfectly combined the modernity of its constructions with the legacy of ancient Peruvian like the pre-hispanic site of Pucllana. 8 Lunch at Larco Herrera Café Restaurant. HD LARCO HERRERA MUSEUM We will visit the private collection of Don Rafael Larco Hoyle that is displayed in a beautiful old Republican Mansion built on the foundations of a pre-inca temple. In there, we will find more than 45,000 pieces of pottery and other hundreds of textiles, metals and stones; and will have exclusive access to its deposits and its famous collection of erotic pottery. LIMA (1.10HRS) CUSCO Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner Today, take a short flight to Inca Empire, Cusco. Upon arrival, we will visit Korikancha, also known as the Temple of Sun along with its Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and the Inca bath of Tambomachay. HD CITY TOUR & RUINS We will tour around the former capital of the Inca Empire. During this half day tour, we will visit Korikancha or Temple of Sun where we will find one of the best samples of the ability of the Incas working the stone. We will continue to the Cathedral that shelters priceless pieces of colonial art. Afterwards, we will head to the monuments that surround the city, like Sacsayhuaman which is an impressive fortress built using rocks of extraordinary measures that were taken from a nearby quarry. We will continue to Qenqo, Puca Pucara and the Inca bath of Tambomachay. Lunch included at local restaurant. Dinner at Tunupa Cusco Restaurant. 9 CUSCO SACRED VALLEY CUSCO Meals: Breakfast After breakfast, transfer towards Sacred Valley of the Incas, a succession of picturesque towns, agricultural terraces and archaeological sites. We will visit the Inca Citadel of Ollantaytambo. This is a large site of ruins characterized by fine masonry which includes terraces, canals, granaries, fortress walls and the Temple of the Sun. We will also admire the Inca baths of TAMBOMACHAY and the semi-circular Kenko Amphitheater with its stone altars and labyrinth of passages. Stop at the ancient site of Puca Pucara before reaching the TEMPLE OF SACSAYHUAMAN, perched on a hillside overlooking Cusco. Continue to Pisac, an old mountain village where you will have the opportunity to visit a home, meet some of the locals and experience their way of life.

5 10 CUSCO MACHU PICCHU (THE LOST CITY OF THE INCA) CUSCO Meals: Breakfast / Buffet Lunch / Dinner This morning transfer to the train station for your Vistadome Valley train journey to Machu Picchu, also termed as The Lost City of the Inca, built in 1450 AD and abandoned 100 years later. Machu Picchu remained undiscovered for centuries, only to be found in 1911 by Hiram Bingham. It is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, and is one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Buffet lunch at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge of Orient Express, thereafter travel by train and coach back to Cusco. Remark : Only hand luggage can be taken onboard the train to Machu Picchu. Your main suitcase will be transferred and stored at Cusco. Please wear comfortable walking shoes for your visit to Machu Picchu. Due to the high altitude of Cusco, you may experience symptoms of altitude illness. Travellers with pre-existing medical conditions should seek medical consultation prior to travel. Machu Picchu The Lost City of the Incas You will visit one of the most important energetic centers of the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion will be by train and during the trip we will have an amazing view of the landscapes of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes, our representatives will assist you to board the bus which will take you to the citadel. In the northeast of the country, in the border with Brazil, you will find the most overwhelming falls in the world. The Iguazu River plunges into a gorge of over 275 falls along 4 km completely surrounded by a dense tropical forest. The itineraries will bring you face to face with the native wildlife. Enjoy the traditional circuits in the Iguazu National Park: the Upper Circuit and the Lower Circuit. The Upper Circuit guarantees spectacular panoramic views of the falls. The Lower Circuit will give us a closer contact with the falls and its surrounding vegetations. We will arrive at the Devil s Throat. The waterfalls here are the most impressive waterfalls in the whole of Iguazu Falls. 13 IGUAZU, BRAZIL (1.50HRS) RIO DE JANEIRO (BRAZIL) Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner This morning, will visit the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls. You will enjoy secure and modern catwalks that lead through the falls. Continue down pathways which take us over the falling waters up to a special area with a fantastic panoramic view of Devil s Throat and the surrounding falls. At a proper time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Thereafter, transfer to hotel for your overnight stay.

6 14 RIO DE JANEIRO SUGAR LOAF Meals: Breakfast / Dinner We will enjoy a half day visit to the Christ of Corcovado. It is Rio s best-known icon. It s a concrete statue of 30 meters whose wide open arms seem to embrace the whole city. The base stands on the top of the Corcovado hill (710 meters) offering a magnificent view of the city: the Guanabara bay, Niteroi, the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, the botanical garden and the Sugar Loaf. The Christ of Corcovado had been declared one of the Seven Wonders of Modern World. We will enjoy a half visit to Sugar Loaf. The Sugar Loaf is a worldwide symbol of Rio de Janeiro and offers the most beautiful views of the city. It is a combination of 2 mountains reached by a cable car, the first one called Morro da Urca is 220 meters high and offers a beautiful view of the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Botafogo and Flamengo, the local airport and the Rio- Niterói Brige. From this stage, a second cable car will take you up to the top of the second mountain, with 395 meters above the sea level, to find a splendid view of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and some beaches of Niterói. The Sugar has become a trademark of the city, making of this an unforgettable tour. Pick up at the hotel and transfer to a local restaurant in order to have dinner. After dinner passengers are taken to Plataforma 1 where a show of Samba and Folklore music with Brazilian dancers is performed.
