3 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS To reduce the risk of fi re, electric shock, injury, always observe the following safety instructions. Denote a potential hazard that could result in serious injury or death. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (Including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Do not use the appliance on people or animals. Do not use the appliance if the mains lead or plug is damaged or faulty. Do not handle the plug or appliance with wet hands. Do not vacuum the followings - Hot ash or embers - Large and sharp objects - Water or other liquids - Flammable or combustible, explosive materials or gases - Toner dust, for example, those from printers and photocopiers - Conductive dusts from power tool Do not damage the mains lead or plug as follows - Placing near the heating elements - Modifying, bending, twisting, pulling - Putting heavy objects on top, and bundling the mains lead Do not use wet washable parts such as fi lters, make sure they are completely dry to avoid damaging the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. If the mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by authorised Service Center or similarly qualifi ed person in order to avoid a hazard. Use an independent socket outlet with the stipulated voltage of local places (Singapore / Malaysia: 230 V V ; Hong Kong: 220 V). The plug must be removed from the socket outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance. Clean dust on the plug regularly with dry cloth. Denote a hazard that could result in minor injury. This appliance is designed for household use only. It is not suitable for commercial / industrial use or for any other cleaning purposes. Do not block the appliance suction or vent. Do not sit on the appliance. Do not pull on the mains lead when removing the plug for the socket outlet. Keep the appliance away from heat sources, for example, radiators, fi res, direct sunlight, etc. Use the appliance where the lighting is suffi cient to avoid the risk of tripping. Turn off the appliance before removing the plug. Hold the plug when rewinding the mains lead. This appliance is fi tted with a thermal cut-out device which automatically turns off the appliance to prevent overheating of the motor. When this happens, disconnect the appliance from the socket outlet and check the dust bin and fi lters as they may be full or clogged with fi ne dust. Check for any other obstructions in the hose or nozzle. After removing the obstruction, leave the appliance to cool down until the thermal cut-out resets after approximately 60 minutes (Depends on the surrounding temperature) and then you can use the appliance again. 3

Jaga baik kanak-kanak, pastikan mereka tidak bermain dengan peralatan ini. Kalau kord kuasa rosak, mesti ditukar oleh pusat servis yang bertauliah atau ahli professional yang berlayak, mengelakkan bahaya. Sila mengunakan voltan salur keluar kuasa yang ditetapkan tempatan (Singapora / Malaysia: 230 V V ; Hong Kong: 220 V). Cabut palam sebelum membersih sampah atau penyelenggaran. Tetapkan pembersihan palam dengan kain kering. s.a.w Jika tidak mengelakkan, mungkin akan mengakibat potensi keadaan yang berbahaya membawa kecederaan yang kecil atau sederhana. Produk ini untuk vakum kegunaan rumah. Jangan menguna untuk komersil atau perindustrian dan tujuan selain daripada pembersih hampagas. Jangan meyekat pada port sedutan dan lohong. Jangan duduk di atas produk. Apabila cabut palam, jangan menarik kord kuasa. Jauhkan sumber haba, contohnya radiator, api, cahaya matahari terus dan lain-lain. Pastikan cahaya cukup terang semasa memvakum, untuk mengelakkan terjatuh. Padamkan suis OFF/ON dan mencabut palam selepas itu. Pegang palam apabila simpan balik kord kuasa. Produk ini dilengkapi peranti perlindungan, ia akan tutupkan produk secara automatik untuk mengelakkan motor terlalu panas. Apabila peranti perlindungan dibuka, tutupkan suis OFF/ON, cabut palam, periksa bekas habuk dan mesh penapis sama ada penuh atau disekat, hos dan muncung sedutan sama ada disekat. Bersihkan benda atau sampah yang disekat dan tunggu selama 60 minut bagi penyejukan motor (Mengikut tahap suhu sekitar, mungkin berbeza). Apabila perlepasan peranti perlindungan secara automatik, pembersih hampagas boleh diguna lagi. 4

7 Cord Rewind Button Butang Penggulung Kord 電線收回按鈕 Hold the plug when rewinding the mains lead. 8 Using The Appliance / Cara Pengendalian Produk / 使用方法 1. Pull out the mains lead and plug it into the socket outlet. Tarik keluar kord kuasa dulu, pasang pada palam. 拉出電源線, 插上電源插頭 How to vacuum Cara yang baik untuk memvakum 吸塵妙法 2. Press the ON/OFF switch. Bukakan suis OFF/ON. 打開電源開關 Move the floor nozzle gently and slowly, avoid strong pressing. Moving it forward and backward every 2 to 3 seconds is the optimum speed. The optimum distance for each stroke of the fl oor nozzle is about half of the operator's height. Mengerak nozzle lantai perlahan-lahan, jangan memaksa. Kelajuan yang sesuai bagi satu perjalanan ialah 2 ~ 3 saat. Standard panjang yang sesuai bagi gerakan sekali nozzle lantai ialah kira-kira setengah ketinggian pengguna. 輕輕地, 慢慢地移動地板吸嘴, 切勿用力 一個往返 2 ~ 3 秒為最理想的速度 地板吸嘴移動一次的理想長度標準約為使用者身高的一半 3. Turn off the appliance, pull out the plug and rewind the mains lead. (The more you clean the carpet, the less the loose fuzz of it will be leave) The dust bin will become less transparent after used for a period of time, but this does not affect the performance of it. (Dengan meningkat bilangan memvakum, rambut terapung pada permaidani akan semakin kurang) Dengan meningkat bilangan memvakum, ketelusan bekas habuk akan semakin turun, tapi tidak akan mengesan prestasinya. 下列情況時, 即使垃圾積滿, 吸力減弱, 但是本體也可能不會發出漏氣音 - 寵物毛或棉狀垃圾很多時 ( 每次吸塵前請確認垃圾積存情況 ) 下列情況時, 即使垃圾未積滿, 也可能發生吸力變弱, 本體發生漏氣音 - 砂土等垃圾很多時 ( 清除掉垃圾並維護保養各過濾網 ) - 軟管 延長管 地板吸嘴中堵塞垃圾時 ( 清除掉堵塞的垃圾 ) - 使用縫隙吸嘴時 ( 請直接確認垃圾積存情況 ) 對新地毯等吸塵時, 由於吸入地毯浮毛, 集塵盒會更快積滿 ( 隨著吸塵次數的增加, 地毯浮毛會慢慢減少 ) 隨著吸塵次數的增加, 集塵盒的透明度會隨之降低, 但不會影響其性能 11

13 4. Remove rubbish and dust with the cleaning brush. When the dust bin is tangled by hair, fur or any items which is difficult to clean up, please maintain the dust bin immediately (D P.14 16). 17 前過濾網 / Pre-motor Filter / Pra Mesh Penapis Remove the dust by tapping it, or gently wash it and then dry it completely. Gently pat it in the water to clean it, and dry it completely in a ventilated place. (To avoid causing strong odours or clogs) Do not scrub it or wash it with washing machine.
