4 English SAFETY PRECAUTIONS CAUTION When you see this sign, please refer to the safety precautions to avoid possible harm and damage. INFORMATION When you see this sign, please take note of the advice for the correct and safe usage of your coffee machine. 3

5 English AVOID RISKS OF FATAL ELECTRIC SHOCK AND FIRE 4 Only plug the appliance into suitable, earthed main connections. Make sure that the voltage of the power source is the same as specified on the rating plate. The use of an incorrect connection voids the warranty. If an extension cord is required, use only an earthed cable with a conductor cross-section of at least 1.5 mm2. Do not pull the cable over sharp edges, clamp it or allow it to hang down. Keep the cable away from heat and damp. If the cable is damaged, do not operate the appliance. Return appliance to qualified personnel for repair. To avoid hazardous damage, never place the appliance on or beside hot surfaces such as radiators, stoves, ovens, gas burners, open flames, or similar. Always place it on a stable and even surface. The surface must be resistant to heat and fluids, like water, coffee, descaler, or similar. Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use for a long period. Disconnect by pulling out the plug and not pulling the cable itself or the cable may become damaged. Never touch the cable with wet hands. Never immerse the appliance or part of it in water. Never put the appliance or part of it in a dishwasher. Electricity and water together is dangerous and can lead to fatal electrical shocks. Do not open the appliance. Hazardous voltage inside! Do not put anything into any openings. Doing so may cause fire or fatal electrical shock! This product has been designed for DOMESTIC use only. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the warranty will not apply for any commercial use, inappropriate use, or failure to comply with the instructions.

6 AVOID RISKS OF FATAL ELECTRIC SHOCK AND FIRE English The appliance is intended to prepare beverages according to these instructions. This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments. This product has not been certified for use on planes, boats, trains and automobiles. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or not operating perfectly. Immediately remove the plug from the power socket. A damaged appliance can cause electrical shocks, burns and fire. Always close the lever completely and never lift it during operation. Scalding may occur. Do not put fingers into the capsule compartment or the capsule shaft. Danger of injury! Do not put fingers under coffee outlet, risk of scalding. Never use a damaged or deformed capsule. Water could flow around the capsule when not perforated by the blades and damage the appliance. Do not use the appliance without the drip tray and drip grid to avoid spilling any liquid on surrounding surfaces. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. When unpacking the machine, remove the plastic film placed on the drip grid and dispose. KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS. Coffee Outlet 8. Lever 9. Water Tank Press once and the coffee preparation will stop automatically when the pre-programmed volume is reached (60 ml for Espresso and 120 ml for Americano). 7

9 English FIRST USE First read the Safety Precaution (Page 3) to avoid risk of fatal electric shock and fire Remove the water tank and capsule container. Connect plug on the back socket and store the excess cable behind the machine. Plug the machine into the mains. Rinse then fill the water tank with water. Switch the machine on. Blinking light of both coffee buttons: heating up for approximately 30 sec. Steady light: Ready Place a cup holding at least 120ml under the coffee outlet and press the Americano button to rinse the machine. Repeat 3 times.

10 COFFEE PREPARATION English Rinse then fill the water tank with potable water. Switch the machine on. Blinking light: heating up for approximately 30 seconds. Steady light: ready. You can press the coffee button when it s still blinking. The coffee will flow automatically when the machine is ready. Lift the lever completely and insert a capsule. Close the lever and place a cup on the cup support under the coffee outlet. Press the Espresso button or the Americano button. To stop the coffee flow manually or top up your coffee, press again. 9

11 English ENERGY SAVING CONCEPT, WATER LEVEL DETECTION To switch machine ON or OFF: press the ON/OFF button. Automatic stand by mode: the machine will enter this mode automatically after 9 minutes of idle. To exit from stand by mode press any button or open the capsule lever. When the water tank is empty the coffee machine will automatic stop after few seconds and a beep sound. Refill the water tank with water. At the same time, empty and rinse the used capsule container and the drip tray.

12 English TROUBLE SHOOTING No light No coffee only water Coffee is short Lever cannot be closed completely Coffee is not hot enough Used capsule can't fall down... Check the main switch is on.... Check capsule is well fit inside.... Water is missing.... Empty the capsules container/check no capsules blocked on the system.... Preheat cup. Descale the machine if necessary.... Check the capsules container, open and close the handle few times. 11

46 PANDUAN KESELAMATAN AMARAN Jika nampak tanda ini, sila merujuk kepada panduan keselamatan untuk mengelakkan berlakunya bahaya dan kerosakan. MAKLUMAT Jika nampak tanda ini, sila mengambil perhatian terhadap nasihat untuk menggunakan mesin kopi secara betul dan selamat. Malay 45

47 MENGELAKKAN RISIKO KEJUTAN ELEKTRIK MEMBAWA MAUT DAN KEBAKARAN Malay 46 Sila sambungkan mesin ini dengan punca elektrik bumi yang sesuai. Memastikan voltan punca elektrik itu adalah sama dengan apa yang terpapar atas plat kadar. Jaminan produk tidak berkesan jika sambungan yang salah telah digunakan. Jika kabel sambungan diperlukan, sila gunakan kabel bumi dengan konduktor keratan rentas sekurangkurangnya 1.5mm2. Jangan tarik, mengapit dan gantung kabel ke atas pinggir yang tajam. Jauhkan kabel dari haba dan lembap. Jika kabel itu rosak, jangan gunakan mesin tersebut. Sila memulangkan mesin ini kepada orang yang berkelayakan untuk dibaiki. Untuk mengelakkan kerosakan merbahaya, jangan letak mesin ini atas sebelah permukaan yang panas seperti radiator, pencukur, dapur, ketuhar, gas, api atau yang seumpamanya. Selalu letakkan mesin ini atas permukaan yang stabil dan rata. Permukaan tersebut mestilah tahan haba dan cecair seperti air, kopi, kerak ataupun seumpamanya. Cabutkan mesin ini dari punca elektrik jika tidak digunakan untuk jangka masa yang panjang. Keluarkan dari punca elektrik dengan mencabut plug, bukannya kabel. Kalau tidak, kabel akan rosak. Jangan sentuh kabel itu dengan tangan yang basah. Jangan rendam mesin ini ataupun sebahagiannya dalam air. Jangan letak mesin atau sebahagiannya dalam mesin cuci. Elektrik dan air adalah bahaya jika guna bersama. Ini akan menyebabkan kejutan elektrik membawa maut. Jangan buka mesin ini. Ada voltan bahaya di dalam! Jangan letak sebarang benda dalam mana-mana pembukaan. Ini akan menyebabkan kebakaran atau kejutan elektrik membawa maut! Produk ini adalah direka cipta untuk kegunaan DOMESTIK sahaja. Jika produk digunakan untuk kegunaan komersil, salah guna, atau gagal mengikut arahan ini, pengeluar tidak akan bertanggungjawab. Jaminan produk juga tidak akan berkesan.

48 MENGELAKKAN RISIKO KEJUTAN ELEKTRIK MEMBAWA MAUT DAN KEBAKARAN Mesin ini adalah bertujuan untuk menyediakan minuman mengikut arahan-arahan ini. Mesin ini adalah bertujuan untuk digunakan dalam rumah ataupun persekitaran yang serupa seperti: bilik pantri pekerja dalam kedai, pejabat atau tempat kerja lain; ladang; pelanggan yang singgah di hotel, motel atau jenis kediaman yang lain; jenis kediaman katil dan sarapan pagi. Produk ini belum diperakui untuk digunakan dalam kapal terbang, kapal, kereta api atau kereta. Jangan gunakan mesin ini selain dari tujuan penggunaan yang dicadangkan. Jangan gunakan mesin ini jika ia adalah rosak atau tidak boleh digunakan secara sempurna. Cabutkan plug dari soket eletrik dengan serta merta. Mesin yang rosak akan menyebabkan kejutan elektrik, kelecuran dan kebakaran. Mesin ini tidak bertujuan untuk digunakan oleh orang (termasuk kanak-kanak) yang kurang upaya dari segi fizikal, deria atau mental, ataupun orang yang tidak berpengalaman dan pengetahuan, melainkan jika mereka diberi pengawasan atau arahan oleh orang yang boleh bertanggungjawab atas keselamatan mereka semasa menggunakan mesin ini. Kanak-kanak perlu diberi pengawasan ketat untuk memastikan mereka tidak main mesin ini. Selalu menutup tuil dengan sepenuhnya dan jangan buka semasa mesin digunakan. Ini akan melecur. Jangan letak tangan ke dalam kotak atau lubang kapsul. Bahaya kerana kecederaan mungkin berlaku! Jangan letak tangan di bawah mulut keluar kopi. Kalau tidak, tangan akan melecur. Jangan guna kapsul yang rosak atau terubah bentuk. Air akan mengalir di sekitar kapsul tersebut apabila bilah tidak mengisarnya dengan elok. Ini akan merosakkan mesin. Jangan guna mesin kopi tanpa dulang titis dan grid titis untuk mengelakkan air dari tertumpah ke permukaan di sekelilingnya. Apabila menanggalkan bungkusan mesin, keluarkan filem plastik di atas grid titis dan membuangnya dengan elok selepas itu. SIMPAN ARAHAN INI. Sila tunjukkan ini kepada pengguna yang seterusnya. 51 PENGGUNAAN PERTAMA KALI Baca panduan keselamatan terlebih dahulu (Muka surat 45) untuk mengelakkan kejutan elektrik membawa maut dan kebakaran. Malay Keluarkan tangki air dan kotak kapsul. Sambungkan plug di soket belakang dan simpankan kabel berlebihan ke belakang mesin. Sambungkan mesin ke punca elektrik utama. Bilas dan isikan tangki air dengan bekas air. Hidupkan mesin. Lampu kedua-dua kopi berkelip menunjukkan air dipanaskan kira-kira untuk 30 saat. Letakkan satu bekas sekurang-kurangnya 120ml di bawah mulut keluar kopi. Tekan butang Americano untuk bilas mesin. Ulang 3 kali.

52 PENYEDIAAN KOPI Bilas dan isikan tangki air dengan air minuman. Hidupkan mesin. Lampu berkelip: air dipanas kira-kiranya untuk 30 saat. Lampu berhenti kelip: Sedia digunakan. Anda boleh tekan butang kopi itu semasa lampu masih berkelip. Kopi akan keluar secara automatik apabila mesin adalah sedia digunakan. Buka tuil sepenuhnya dan masukkan satu kapsul kopi. Menutup tuil dan letakkan cawan atas pemegang cawan di bawah mulut keluar kopi. Tekan butang Espresso ataupun Americano. Untuk menghentikan kopi keluar secara manual atau mengisi semula kopi anda, sila tekan sekali lagi. Malay 51

53 KONSEP PENJIMATAN TENAGA, PENGESANAN PARAS AIR Malay Untuk menghidup atau mematikan mesin: Tekan butang ON/OFF. Mod tunggu sedia automatik: Mesin akan tukar ke mod tunggu sedia secara automatik jika tidak digunakan untuk 9 minit. Untuk keluar dari mod tunggu sedia, sila tekan mana-mana butang atau buka tuil kapsul. Apabila tangki air kosong, mesin kopi akan berhenti secara automatik selepas beberapa saat lalu berbunyi bip. Isi semula tangki air. Pada masa yang sama, kosongkan dan cuci kotak kapsul terpakai serta tulang titis.

54 PENYELESAIAN MASALAH Lampu tidak menyala Tiada kopi tetapi hanya air sahaja Kopi kurang Tuil tidak boleh ditutup sepenuhnya Kopi tidak cukup panas Kapsul terpakai tidak jatuh... Periksa sama ada suis utama sudah dihidupkan.... Periksa sama ada kapsul diletak dengan betul dalam mesin.... Tidak cukup air.... Kosongkan kotak kapsul/periksa sama ada kapsul tersekat dalam mesin.... Panaskan cawan dahulu. Bersihkan mesin jika perlu.... Periksa kotak kapsul, buka dan tutup tuil kapsul untuk beberapa kali.
