15 ( 60 ) About Heidegger s Sein To the Centenary of the Birth of Professor Xiong Wei Wang Lu In translating Heidegger s keyword Sein into Chinese, Professor Xiong Wei used ZAI, a Chinese word that has several meanings literally, such as existence, in somewhere, in doing something, or in some state of affairs, etc.. It seems that Xiong Wei did not agree with the use of CUNZAI in translation, a Chinese word that means existence. In some context, ZAI does seem to be a better translation than CUNZAI, but both of them have the same problem in translation, that is, they can t show the meaning of copular, which is the most important meaning of the word Sein. This paper shows that a right Chinese translation of Heidegger s Sein should be SHI, which literally means copular, and that how to translate Heidegger s word Sein( or the word being in general) is not only an issue of translation, but also one of how to understand the Western Philosophy. Firstly, birth concept decides birth behavior. Secondly, population s birth behavior has an effect on population s development. We should firstly unify population ideology and shape population concept to make population sustainable development. As both painter and poet, his poems and paintings demonstrate clear relevance.this paper will research the correlatives existing between them, which we can also call that they share the same rules, by the points of view of theory consciousness, style character, artistic techniques, theme content and so on. This is not only a meaningful and valuable way to research Pan s poems, but also can give us a modern proof to confirm that the paintings and poems share the same rules, which was a proposition in the literary theory since long time ago.
