School of Basic Medicine, Yunnan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kunming 650500, China) ABSTRACT: Scholars at home and abroad have detected lard type fatty acid binding protein (A-FABP) and visfatin level, and evaluated their relevance to the metabolic syndrome (MS). Besides, peroxidase body growth activated receptor (PPARγ) may also play key role in diseases including obesity, high blood pressure, abnormal lipid metabolism, and thus could be one of the important candidate genes of MS. The paper their relationship with cardio-cerebrovascular disease, and provide scientific references for the prevention and control of non-communicable disease (NCD).
