Abstract Due to the improving of living standards, people gradually seek lighting quality from capacityto quality. And color temperature is the important subject of it. According to the research from aboard, the color temperature would affect human psychological and physiological responses. Thus, the study evaluate human physiological responses by means of analysis of the Ryodoraku values, could reflect the condition of sympathetic nervous system entirely, and it was based on Chinese medicine. The study attempts to discuss if the change of color temperature could affect human being, and how the extent of it. By the way of experimental analysis on Ryodoraku values and psychological responses, the result of study will provide a reference for designers and users in general lighting environment. Methods 1The study chose the full-scale room to evaluate the effect of human from the change of color temperature. 2The study used S.D. method to analyze the effects of psychological Responses, and evaluated human physiological responses by means of analysis of the Ryodoraku values. 3The study used the statistics to transform the results and provided the suggestion for designers and users. Results It can be testified that the Ryodoraku neurometer system is workable by comparing the influence of color temperature in the study and with the others. The results show that the pericardium meridian and heart meridian are important ones and possibly affected by the three types of lighting environment. For the evaluation of arousal level by physiological responses and physiological responses, color temperature of 6500K is the best one of them. But it is necessary to think over the problem of affected time to human body. For the comfortable sensation, color temperature of 4000K is the best one of them, and the extent of Ryodoraku response is between of the others. So, it is suggested that the white light (4000K) to be the better lighting selection in general lighting.
