Research on the US Arms Sales to Taiwan Since the Establishment of Sino-US Diplomatic Relations Abstract Research on the US Arms Sales to Taiwan Since the Establishement of Sino-US Diplomatic Relations Abstract After China and the United States established diplomatic relations, the issue of America arms sales to Taiwan has been one of the most sensitive problem of Sino-US relations, because this regard Taiwan as an independent political entity, which is a searious affront to China`s sovereignity. China has been condemning and objecting to the policy of arms saling to Taiwan all the time, but unable to prevent the behavior. This article is directed by Marxist historical and makes full use of the knowledge and methods of international arms trade and the international relations. The article researches the background and reasons, the ways and procedures of the arms sales policy, analyzing the danger of the policy. At last, the article makes a prediction on it.
