A 24hour dietary recall method for 3 consecutive days was used to collect information on food intake. Results Compared to 2002, the dietary nutrition intake status among the community residents have been great changes in The dietary composition and levels of energy, the total vitamin E, magnesium and sodium per person each day respectively have been decreased. However, the dietary composition and levels of protein, fat, vitamin A, vitamin B 1, vitamin B 2, calcium, potassium and phosphorus per person each day respectively have been increased. There were insufficient average intakes of eggs, fish and shrimp, legume and dairy. There were lower average daily intakes than the requirement of Chinese dietary guideline (2007) for the consumption of it. However, there were higher average daily intakes than the requirement of Chinese dietary guideline (2007) for the consumption of oil and salt.
