Made in China 2025 and Internet Action place emphasis on the deployment of intelligent manufacturing, put forward the idea of vigorously developing intelligent manufacturing, carry out pilot and demonstration projects of intelligent manufacturing, implement key projects of intelligent manufacturing, and focus on driving the intelligent transformation of manufacturing process. China-Germany intelligent manufacturing and Industrie 4.0 Cooperation are now in an actual phase, and a regular work mechanism has been officially established. New models and new modes represented by smart factories, digital workshops, application of additive manufacturing technologies, and large-scale customization, Internet-based synergic development, online monitoring, remote diagnosis and cloud service are developing rapidly. The application of smart equipments and products, such as industrial robots, service robots, new-type sensors, intelligent apparatuses, instruments and control systems, wearable devices, smart appliances, smart power grids is spreading, and the demand scale witnesses a rapid expanding trend. It is estimated that in 2016, during which the 13th Five-Year Plan lifts intelligent manufacturing to a new height, the promotion paths of intelligent manufacturing in various fields are further clarified and China-Germany cooperation is further deepened, China will establish an intelligent manufacturing industry ecology which features openness, sharing and cooperation, drive the intelligent upgrading of production equipments, the optimization and renovation of technological processes, the all-round sharing of basic data, the continuous breakthroughs in core parts, and promote the continuous development and growth of new-generation information communication technologies, high-end equipments, energy-saving and new-energy automobiles, electronic equipments, farm machinery and equipments, new materials, biopharmaceuticals, high-performance medical apparatuses and other industries, so as to gradually establish a new-type manufacturing system. Moreover, China will further cultivate new growth points for industries on the basis of the innovative industrial models and development modes of intelligent manufacturing.
