2 行政院國家科學委員會專題研究計劃成果報告多變量廣泛加權移動平均管制圖與整合工程製程管制之研究 (/3) 期中報告 A study on desgnng a multvarate generally weghted movng average control chart and ntegratng engneerng process control 計劃編號 :NSC94-3-E 執行期限 :94 年 8 月日至 95 年 7 月 3 日主持人 : 徐世輝教授台灣科技大學工業管理系一中文摘要廣泛加權移動平均 (GWMA) 管制圖係指數加權移動平均 (EWMA) 管制圖之廣義模式, 透過調整參數之設定, 對於偵測製程平均數微小偏移之能力, 遠較修華特管制圖與 EWMA 管制圖為佳, 本子計畫研究各種多變量管制圖並延伸單變量 GWMA 管制圖為多變量 GWMA 管制圖, 期待能發展出比 Hotellng 多變量管制圖多變量 CUSUM 管制圖與 MEWMA 管制圖對於製程平均數向量微小偏移更具偵測能力之多變量管制圖接著, 針對多重輸入多重輸出之製程, 運用多變量管制圖整合多變量工程製程管制與多變量統計製程管制 (MEPC/MSPC), 發展製程效率之評比法則, 以建立 MEPC/MSPC 之管制架構然後, 以成本設計為考量, 進行 MEPC/MSPC 管制圖之經濟設計, 探討相關的總成本函數, 以反映 MEPC/MSPC 之管制效率與總品質成本之關係, 分別對上述幾種多變量管制圖進行經濟設計, 以電腦模擬方式比較其平均成本效率關鍵詞 : 六標準差, 統計製程管制, 多變量, 管制圖, 指數加權移動平均, 工程製程管制 Abstract The generally weghted movng average (GWMA) control chart s a generalzaton of the EWMA control chart. Due to the added adjustment parameter, the GWMA control chart has been shown to perform much better than Shewhart

3 control chart and EWMA control chart n montorng small shfts of the process mean. Ths research nvestgate the multvarate control charts are studed and a multvarate extenson of the GWMA control chart s proposed. We expect to develop a multvarate control chart whch can perform much better than Hotellng multvarate control chart, the multvarate CUSUM control chart and the MEWMA control chart n detectng small shfts of the mean vector. Then, under the multple nput- multple output process, we plan to study the ntegraton of the multvarate engneerng process control and the multvarate control chart (MEPC/MSPC). To develop some performance measures and setup the MEPC/MSPC control scheme, fnally, we propose the MEPC/MSPC control scheme wth the economc consderaton. Some total qualty cost functons wll be dscussed to reveal the relatonshp between the control effcent of MECP/MSPC and the total qualty cost. Va smulaton, several multvarate control charts ntegrated wth MEPC can be used to show whch one s much more effectve and much more economc n detectng small shfts of the mean vector. Keywords: Sx Sgma, statstcal process control, multvarate, control chart, exponentally weghted movng average, engneerng process control. 二計劃緣由與目的 Sheu 與 Ln (004) 所提出之廣泛加權移動平均 (GWMA) 管制圖, 透過設計參數與調整參數之設定, 對於偵測製程平均數微小偏移之能力遠較修華特管制圖與 EWMA 管制圖為佳, 在多變量之應用上, 若能類似 MCUSUM 與 MEWMA 之作法, 將單變量之 GWMA 管制圖延伸成多變量廣泛加權移動平均 (multvarate GWMA, 簡稱 MGWMA) 管制圖, 應能發展出比 MCUSUM 與 MEWMA 更具偵測能力之多變量管制圖, 所設計之電腦程式亦可供業界進行多變量管制圖設計時之參考使用, 進一步推廣多變量管制圖之使用空間, 促使六標準差之高品質特性得以實現再者, 考慮 EPC 所監控之製程變數為 MIMO 時, 因為目前文獻上的探討仍僅分別著重在多變量的工程製程管制與多變量的統計製程管制而已, 如何將多變量管制圖的觀念應用在多變量的工程製程管制仍屬少見, 如何設計有效的管制架構, 整合多變量 EPC 與多變量 SPC( 簡稱 MEPC/MSPC), 以提升工程製程管制的管制效率, 實是當務之急三研究方法及成果 I. 研究方法

6 II. 研究成果本研究即欲根據 MEWMA 管制圖之建構方式, 將單變量 GWMA 管制圖延伸為 MGWMA 管制圖, 推導 MGWMA 管制圖計算第次 ( 或時間 ) 加權後之統計量 G 之公式 G 之共變異矩陣 Σ 與繪圖統計值 T, 並可證明 G G 之 noncentralty parameter (λ) 亦只與平均數向量 μ 及共變異矩陣 Σ 有關, 則可如 MEWMA 管制圖之運作方式, 先在既定 ARL 0 之下以電腦模擬方式求得管制界限 (h) 後, 將製程平均數向量由管制狀態內之 μ 偏移至 μ, 0 只要 λ 值相等即可視為相同的偏移量來求得 ARL, 以進行 MGWMA 管制圖之統計特性研究, 並與 Hotellng 多變量管制圖 MEWMA 管制圖進行比較設計參數與調整參數為 GWMA 管制圖之特色, 透過大量的電腦模擬比較, 本研究預期在不同的參數組合下,MGWMA 管制圖在 λ 為微小偏移量時之 ARL 會比 Hotellng 多變量管制圖與 MEWMA 管制圖之 ARL 小, 亦即 MGWMA 管制圖對於製程平均數向量之微小偏移將具有較早偵測出來的能力四結論與討論 (a) 我們將發展的多變量廣泛加權移動平均 (MGWMA) 管制圖, 為廣義的多變量加權移動平均 (MEWMA) 管制圖, 透過可調變參數, 所得到的結果將比過去文獻上對製程平均向量微小偏移的偵測能力更強 (b) 為針對多重輸入多重輸出之製程, 首次提出整合多變量工程製程管制 (MEPC) 與多變量統計製程管制 (MSPC) 之管制架構, 並討論整合 MEPC/MSPC 之製程管制方式優於兩者單獨實施之製程管制方式 (c) 在經濟成本的考量因素下, 對於多重輸入多重輸出之製程, 首 5
