My Dream As I grew older, my dream was to travel all over the world. I wanted to be a travel writer to take pictures and write about what I have seen. How wonderful it would be to take pictures of everything I saw and did! Then, I can write about it to share them with others on my blog on the internet. Now I still want to travel and see the world. To do that, I need to prepare myself well. For now, I want to learn English well so that I can use it when I travel. I want to take up photography so that I can snap beautiful pictures and share them with others. I also want to develop my character so that I can be independent. In the future, I hope to see and experience the world. These are my goals now to help me achieve my dreams for the future. Happy Camping Last week, my friends and I decided to go camping. I packed my rucksack on Thursday night. I put a pair of boots, a cap, a raincoat and a sleeping bag into it. I also took my binoculars because I like bird watching. On Friday afternoon, my three friends and I got on the train at 5:00p.m.. We arrived at the campsite at 6:15p.m. and went to the local shop to get some food. Peter is a good cook, so he prepared our meals. He brought a portable stove, but he did not bring any matches, so we had to borrow from other campers. Say No to Sharks Fin Soup Many fishermen catch sharks just for their fins. They cut off the sharks fins and then throw them back into the ocean. Usually the sharks are still alive. They suffer a slow death. This shark finning is extremely cruel. There is no scientific evidence that sharks fins are good for health. On the contrary, some scientists claimed that sharks can be dangerous to health because mercury was found in sharks. Sharks cannot reproduce as quickly as other fish. Most fish can lay eggs when they are one year old. Moreover, they can lay millions of eggs each year. However, sharks can only give birth at the age of around ten or more, and they produce very few babies. Therefore, sharks will disappear one day if we do not stop eating sharks fin soup. 5
