The discussion includes marionette show is not the original term of the element although it is now nominated as such in the national framework for the safeguarding of cultural heritage. The term is actually some new memory of heritage created by the local heritage bearers of Quanzhou ka-le the southern Fujian dialect for puppet show so as to reconstruct the element of cultural heritage and ensure the sustainable development of their heritage in the new social and historical condition.
