It was once selected as a demonstration base for Japanese immigrant villages during the Japanese occupation, but now has much historical significance. The Bilian Temple was an old headmaster's home while the torii and tobacco buildings accompanied the villagers to pass through numerous hard struggles. 社區營造 Fishing At The Yanliao Fishing Harbor, Ganzishuxia Of all the villages in Shoufeng Xiang, the Yanliao and Shuilian Village are the only ones near the ocean. Downtown Yanliao Village is clustered with guesthouses and coffee shops with an ocean view. People often play in the fishing harbor at the Ganzishuxia, Yanliao. The bowers laid with big stones possess a strong ocean aura. It only takes 40 minutes to reach the small waterfall at the end of the headstream. The tour along the stream is full of excitement and fun. The stream pouring down from the waterfall gives you a natural massage. It is an unforgettable experience when you climb the large rocks and jump into the deep lake. However, you must be equipped with professional gear and guided by a tour guide to make your experience safer. 然 Canoeing and Biking on Carp Lake Carp Lake is surrounded by mountains and water. It is an excellent place to row a boat, take a walk, or ride a bike. By doing so, you can healthily enjoy the scenery. Anuoyizi rice of Shoufeng Xiang, which is grown in the west side of the Coastal Range of Taiwan and irrigated with Porphyries Andesite, an unpolluted spring, is also known as The Beam of Carbonado (also known as Black Diamond ). This new naturalistic product, invented by the Farmers Association of Shoufeng Xiang, produces things such as sticky cakes and healthy glutinous rice dumplings. They are so famous that they are even exported to Canada and greatly loved by consumers. Sweet Springs Nurture Fat Clams Surrounded by the Hualien, Shoufeng, and Laosi River, Shoufong Township is abundant in water and has springs everywhere. Thus, the sweet water produces plump and delicious aquatic products. Clams, commonly called Li-zih, has a high nutritious value.
