<gigirocky@gmail.com> N.K. is one of the most unpredictable countries in the world with the threat of nuclear weapon, execution of top leaders without human rights, unceasing cries of sufferings and mass starvation. Due to insecurity NK military soldiers are watching the borders between China and N. K. even more tightly. Yet our Lord opens new doors for the salvation of the people of N.K. Bread for Life Project Since September 2012, N.K. International Cooperation Network (NICN) started Bread for Life Project that supplies daily bread for lunch to 2,000 N.K. students in a remote city. Christians from Switzerland, USA, Hong Kong, and Korea donated the funds necessary for factory facilities and bread production. Local city government provided the land, an old building, factory workers and received approval from Central Government. The approval from N.K. Central Government for this bread factory came in a very special way. When the local government was waiting for approval we prayed to God. Finally our Lord opened the door. Now we produce 2,700 breads daily to supply to students. However, there are difficulties. A faithful and experienced factory manager was sent to the factory. But the local government does not allow him to stay at the factory. So he has to stay at a hostel without electricity with the local officers. He has to cook for himself with gas even in very cold winter. During September 2013 NICN Consultation, NICN members cheerfully decided to donate the amount of the one year budget of the bread factory. We received request to supply soya bean milk for the students and to supply bread for poor orphans in another city. We pray for wisdom for the future and for financial support for soya bean milk and bread. Through this strategy God will open doors and the hearts of people. closed countries like N.K. Our Lord opened a door for Business A Mission Project at in areas beside N.K. T International Vocational School was founded 13 years ago by US and Canadian church donors. As major Christian donors from overseas could no longer provide support, the school board decided to close the school at the end of December 2013. Most of the students and teachers left this school. On the final day of the Consultation, the Lord gave us an opportunity to visit this school and discover their actual situation. And we prayed for God s will for this school. We knew that the Lord wanted to revive this school because it was founded for N.K. mission and God wants to continue to build up missionaries to N.K. through this school. Upon discussion, NICN teams decided to participate in re-establishing this school. Praise God that a Canadian Korean Church and Big dream Team decided to provide financial support as well as some workers. This school reopens in February 2014. The school welcomes teachers from any country. Volunteer teachers are needed urgently. Application of new students from T City and China are also needed. I believe that the Lord will open more doors in N.K. for these technicians who are equipped with skills as well as the Word of God. <tamksj@hotmail.com> 10 11
