2011 SUMMER CAMPER RULES 1. No campers are allowed to leave camp after check-in. Campers should act with his/her buddy or team. 2. Please follow camp rules and instructions from your counselor at all time. Campers should be punctual for each event. 3. Please keep the bedroom and classroom clean and quiet. 4. Please do not damage facilities. Campers will have to pay for the damage. 5. No food, drink, smoking, sharp utensils, firearms, or unlawful substances allowed in your room. 6. All computer, radios, CD players, games, and toys are to be left at home. You are responsible for the loss of your personal belongings. 7. Please dress yourself properly for all occasions. Slippers are not allowed for classes and dinning. 8. After each meal, please put utensils in proper place. 9. Violations of the above rules: a. First Violation: Warning b. Second Violation: No expedition c. Third Violation: Pick up home by parent. 1
Chinese Cultural Youth Summer Camp Duties for Counselors General Rules of Conduct: 1. All activities must report to the guardian ahead of time 2. When campers behave inappropriately, report to guardians immediately. 3. Treat campers with reason, firmness and strictness yet with amiability. 4. If an emergency occurs, report it to the guardian or director immediately. 5. The purpose of a counselor is to help people and acquire leadership skills. 6. Not allow staying with none roommate in one bedroom. During Meal: 1. You must bring campers 5 minutes earlier to get cafeteria ready. 2. Maintain a low noise level and proper manner of conduct. 3. After meals, help and direct campers to clean tables and floors. For Classes: 1. Bring campers to class 5 minutes early to the assigned area. 2. Help instructor maintain order in the class. 3. Assist teacher in using teaching material. 4. Help campers to clean up classroom when class ends. During Outdoor and Indoor Activities: 1. Be cautious of camper s state of health (Report to nurse if first aid is needed.) 2. Always be aware of safety precautions. 3. Always make sure all campers stay together. During Break Times: 1. Campers may not go to anywhere alone. 2. Make use of this time for preparation of skit/play. 3. All campers must wake up and sleep at specified times. 4. After specified sleep time, campers may not talk or wander about. 3
