D epartm ent of Environm ental and L ife Sciences, Putian U niversity, Putian , China) Abstract: Coastal Zone is the transfer of land and sea areas. W ith econom ic development and opening to the outside world, various exp loiting activities on coastal zone, on the one hand, p romote econom ic development of coastal are2 as; on the other hand, make coastal areas facing increasing p ressures, such as population increase, consump tion of resources and serious environmental pollution, etc. In addition, coastal zone suffers frequent natural disasters, such as typhoon, drought and earthquake. Accordingly, coastal ecological environment show s a typ ical character2 istic of vulnerability. In this paper, fragile ecological environm ent in the coastal zone was studied based on the Geo2Information Tupu methodology. Firstly, it constructs spatiotemporal database through earth observation, field investigation and social econom ic statistics, and a symp tom Tupu is constructed from data m ining and know ledge discovery. Then a diagnose Tupu is extracted by com bined evaluation and spatiotemporal analysis. Finally, imp le2 ment Tupu is generated by the support of forecasting model and the decision p roject is formed. The p ractice p roves that the study of the fragile p roperties for eco2environm ent by the method of Geo2Informatics graphic analysis is al2 most same as the reality of Fujian Province. The fragile eco2environment including p resent situation, driving factors and the future trend could be reflected more intuitively through information Tupu. The study of fragile eco2environ2 mental information Tupu by means of Tupu inversion and simulating the spatiotemporal change of eco2environment of coast zone would supp ly important scientific basis for the p lanning policy decision of sustainable developm ent in coast zone as well as the countermeasure m aking of environmental management and disaster p revention and reduc2

8 tion through comp rehensive assessment and forecasting of fragile eco2environment in coastal zone by Tupu form.
