International CollegeYunnan Agricultural UniversityKunming China Abstract In order to develop the development and application of sticky cardspollen sticky cards were used to trap western flower thrips Frankliniella occidentalis in red rose plastic greenhouses in Kunyang County. Complete random split block design was used to set the pollen sticky cards experiment by using five kinds of common pollen that is rose pollenrape pollencamellia pollenpeach pollen and pinus pollen with different five concentrationthat is g /plate0. 15 g /plate0. 3 g /plate0. 5 g /plate g /plate. After two continuous red rose growing seasons in 2016 the results showed that there was no significant difference in trapping effect on western flower thrips among five kinds of pollensbut there is extremely significant difference in trapping effect among five different concentrations. And with the increase of concentration the trapping effect was rising firstlyarriving the best trapping effect at g /card then reducing. There was significant difference in the interaction effect of concentration and pollen. The average amount of latter trapping is per plate. And there also had extremely significant difference among different trapping time in the red rose growing season. The trapping effect was the best at the beginning of the flower season. Therefore the pollen sticky cards can trap the western flower thrips efficiently with or concentration.
