Based on its mission, EEF has developed a clear model for library development, project execution and librarian training through its exploration. This paper analyzes and summarizes the experience of EEF on project execution, librarian training, organizational development and collaboration/exchange with other organizations. We hope this retrospection can help EEF to find its way to the future, as well as provide a useful reference for NGOs which actively seek the way to effectively facilitate rural library development in China.
