Emp hasis is placed on elucidating his pat riotic motive and royalty to profession his spirit his met hodology and his st rategy. [ ] 2002-10 - [ ] (1941 - ). Hence it t urns out t hat it is by no means fort uitous for his great achievement s in t he fields of teaching and scientific research in more t han sixty tears. The analysis indicates t hat his academic ideas running through his whole life could be described as follows. On the basis of social practice and according to the requirement s in t he develop ment of economy science and technology he finds and raises specific problems wit h great foresight and innovative t hought. And secondly t hrough intensive investigations and meticulous analysis he creatively establishes the mathematical models for the problems and treats them with advanced and novel techniques. Then he verifies the obtained results by comparing them with observed or experimental data and develops them into new theory if possible. These ideas have proved to be powerf ul in practice. Finally it is pointed out t hat Prof. Chien Wei - zang creatively carries forward the good traditions of ancient ages and the academic style of the Gottingen School. It is also shown that the experience accumulated by Prof. Chien Wei - zang is a valueless spiritual wealth for t he academic circles.
