Operating conditions Please be sure to hold the body handle when carrying the product. Pull out the power plug from the lower part of cover. (Pinching the power cord between the cover and the body may damage the power cord. ) WARNING Do not do anything that may damage the power cord. (May cause electric shock or fire.) Do not operate with the nozzle turned upward. (Objects may fall into the nozzle and cause operation failure.) Body handle Do not put the product in unstable places such as on the mattress or bed. (Otherwise, the product may fall down and cause malfunction.) Do not put any objects on the futon. (Because it may block the air flow from the air outlet, no effect may be obtained or failure may occur.) Do not operate with the filter clogged. Do not operate the product if there is no filter installed. (May prevent effective operation or cause malfunction due to dust entering the product.) When drying thin comforter or blanket or the like, put a light futon on it. (Otherwise, no effect may be obtained.) Close firmly the gap of the futon to prevent the air from leaking. (Otherwise, no effect may be obtained.) When drying shoes, prop them up in order the hot air enters into the shoes. Do not put the product near TV or radio. (Otherwise, distortion or noises may occur.) Keep 1 m or more away from such devices. Do not place any objects on the product. (Otherwise, malfunction or failure may occur.) Especially do not place a magnet or any metal objects on the product. (Otherwise, the built-in magnet may detect turnover incorrectly and the product may not operate.) Some material of the futon may be damaged by warm air. Before drying, please contact the bedding manufacturers. Do not use as a heater. 22 Notice Drying time depends on the type or size of futon and the ambient temperature or humidity. It may take longer time to be dried. How to install When drying futon on the bed Please put the product on the floor. When drying futon on the floor (tatami, carpet, wooden floor, etc.) Please put the product in a stable and flat place. Requirements Cotton blanket, etc. When drying on the wooden or tiled floor, please spread out a large cotton blanket under the futon or small items. (Moisture may remain and cause condensation.) How to store After stopping operation, disconnect the power plug, and store the hose, nozzle and power cord into the body. Hose and NozzlePower cord Store the hose into the body. Futon drying function 1 Insert the nozzle between the comforter and mattress. Make sure that the nozzle does not come out of the futon. (Otherwise, the effect may not be obtained as expected.) Nozzle WARNING Do not block the air outlet. (May cause a fire due to overheating.) Operating with the louver downward will be more effective. Louver 2 Connect the power plug, press. Each press of the button will switch to the next timer setting. The operation starts immediately after pressing the button. Drying futon Feather / Wool Cotton (Operation indicator (Mode) lights up) To dry Feather / Wool futon (The hot air operation runs for approximately 60 minutes.) To dry Cotton futon (The hot air operation runs for approximately 80 minutes.) To get rid of the warm air from the futon, press. Each press of the button will switch to the next timer setting. Cooling down operation gets rid of the warm air after drying futon. It makes more comfortable to use in summer. The operation stops* when the preset time has passed. After stopping, disconnect the power plug, and store the hose, nozzle and power cord into the body. (P.23) To stop the operation press. The operation stops*. * After the operation stops, the operation indicator (Mode) may flash and the fan may continue operating for up to 2 minutes to cool down the product (nozzle and hose). Disconnect the power plug after the indicator stops flashing and the fan operation stops completely. WARNING Do not touch the nozzle or hose immediately after operation. (May cause burns.) 24
Anti-mite function Anti-mite takes 90 minutes for a half of one side of the futon. It takes approximately 6 hours for one set of the futon (1 comforter and 1 mattress). 1 Insert 2 Connect 3 After 4 Turn 5 Clean the nozzle between the comforter and mattress. At the position of 1/4 from the edge of the futon length, insert the nozzle completely to the futon. (Otherwise, the effect may not be obtained as expected.) the power plug, press and select Mite (90 min.). Each press of the button will switch to the next timer setting. (The timer indicator and the operation indicator (Mode) light up. The operation starts immediately after pressing the button. (approximately 90 minutes) the operation stops, to take anti-mite for the remaining part of futon, press again and select Mite (90 min.). The operation starts immediately after pressing the button. (approximately 90 minutes) over both of the comforter and mattress, repeat steps 1 to 3. The operation stops* when the preset time has passed. After all the operation is completed, disconnect the power plug, and store the hose, nozzle and power cord into the body. (P.23) the futon with a vacuum cleaner. To reduce the risk of allergy, suck the dead mites and feces in the futon with a vacuum cleaner. Using the attachment for vacuum cleaner like futon nozzle may be more effective. To stop the operation press. The operation stops*. * After the operation stops, the operation indicator (Mode) may flash and the fan may continue operating for up to 2 minutes to cool down the product (nozzle and hose). Disconnect the power plug after the indicator stops flashing and the fan operation stops completely. WARNING WARNING 1/2 1/2 Do not block the air outlet. Operating methods Notice Anti-mite measures may not be done completely, because the temperature at the corner of the futon is lower. Shoes Clothes To dry shoes :, To dry small items / clothes : (Select time referring to "Reference for drying time" (P. 27).) Each press of the button will switch to the next timer setting. (The timer indicator and the operation indicator (Mode) light up. The operation starts immediately after pressing the button. The operation stops* when the preset time has passed. After stopping, disconnect the power plug, and store the power cord inside the body. (P.23) To stop the operation press. The operation stops*. When drying shoes, prop them up in order the hot air enters into the shoes. To keep the floor dry, place the damp / washed clothes or shoes on the plastic sheet etc. * After the operation stops, the operation indicator (Mode) may flash and the fan may continue operating for up to 2 minutes to cool down the product (nozzle and hose). Disconnect the power plug after the indicator stops flashing and the fan operation stops completely. WARNING Do not touch the nozzle or hose immediately after operation. (May cause burns.) 26 Notice The result of drying depends on the ambient temperature, humidity, the type or material of the clothes and shoes and degree of wetness. Please operate again when the clothes or shoes are not dried completely.

When the nozzle is not stable on the shoes, do not use this method. Nozzle Hose Damp: approx. 20 minutes After washed: approx. 40 minutes <Example> Kids' shoes, etc. After washed: approx. 15 minutes Operating methods Drying time may vary depending on the material or how wet the shoes are. Requirements Insert the hose into the nozzle completely and place the nozzle on the shoes. Adjust the louver for the hot air to reach the tip of the shoes. CAUTION Do not dry leather shoes. (May cause deformation or alteration of shape of the shoes.) Do not dry clothes/shoes on the floor or carpet which are not heat-resistant. (The heat may cause deformation or alteration to the floor or carpet.) Notice Removing water of damp/washed shoes with a dry cloth beforehand may shorten the drying time. F06S1H 27
Maintenance Before maintenance WARNING CAUTION Disconnect the power plug before cleaning. (The product may start operating unexpectedly and electric shock or injury may occur.) Perform maintenance after cooling down the nozzle, hose and body. (May cause burns.) Do not use the detergent other than the neutral one for kitchen purpose. (Deterioration, deformation or breakage of plastic parts may occur.) When using chemically treated cloth, follow its instructions. Filter cover (small) Filter <About once a month> Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner etc. Hold the filter firmly because it may be sucked easily. How to remove Open the filter cover and remove the filter. (Remove the filter at the opposite side in the same way.) Filter (small) Filter (large) Body <About once a month> Filter cover (large) Wipe with a soft wrung cloth. Wiping with hard cloth may scratch the surface. Wipe the power plug with dry cloth. Put a finger on the cutout and pull it forward. How to assemble Filter cover Insert the filter into the hooks of the Hook filter cover. Insert the projections at the top of the filter Filter cover into the holes on the body.
