5 Rules and Regulations 2018 UOB Painting of the Year (Malaysia) Competition 1. Eligibility 1.1 The UOB Painting of the Year competition (the Competition ) is organised by United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd ( UOBM ). 1.2 The Competition is open to all Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents. Participation in the Competition is free. 1.3 The parent or legal guardian of a participant who is 18 years of age or below must consent to his/her participation in this Competition in the entry form and agree to the rules and regulations. 2. The Competition 2.1 The Competition is divided into two categories: (1) Emerging Artist and (2) Established Artist. a. The Emerging Artist category is open to aspiring artists who are pursuing an art education; are taking their first steps to a career in art; or simply paint for pleasure. b. The Established Artist category is open to experienced professionals with an established portfolio of work. They must have shown their paintings in solo or group exhibitions (excluding school graduation shows); be represented by a gallery; or have achieved recognition through art awards. c. There are no age restrictions for either the Emerging Artist or Established Artist category. 2.2 Participants shall choose to enter their artwork in only one of the two given categories. Each participant may submit a maximum of three (3) entries in the chosen category. 2.3 Paintings in acrylic, batik, Chinese brush, collage, crayon, ink, mixed media, oil, watercolour or any other media are accepted. 2.4 Video artworks, installations and sculptures will not be accepted. UOBM shall reserve the right to refuse submissions for any reason(s) whatsoever. 2.5 Collages, two-dimensional embossed paintings and three-dimensional paintings are acceptable, subject to a maximum thickness of 5cm (inclusive of frames). 2.6 Paintings submitted must be original and should not have been created more than two years prior to the submission date. 2.7 Participants should not submit works that have been offered for sale, published, or publicly exhibited. UOB may, at its sole and absolute discretion, make exceptions for works by full-time art students which have been exhibited at their respective school graduation shows but which have not been offered for sale, published, or exhibited in any other form. 2.8 Framing is optional. 2.9 Paintings are to be within 180 centimetres in height and width (inclusive of frames) Paintings submitted as a series to make up a single artwork should not exceed three (3) individual pieces that make up the whole artwork, or if conjoined, are to be submitted as a triptych (3-panel artwork). The total dimension of all the three (3) individual pieces combined that constitutes the whole artwork and/or the triptych (if conjoined) is to be within 180 centimetres in total height or width. 3. The Prizes 3.1 The prizes for the two categories of awards are as follows: Established Artist Category * UOB Painting of the Year Award MYR100,000 * Gold Award MYR45,000 * Silver Award MYR35,000 * Bronze Award MYR22, All photos and entries will be deemed received by UOBM on the day and time UOBM receives the photos and entries. UOBM will not be liable in any manner whatsoever to the participants should any photos and/or entry is lost, missing or damaged in its course of delivery to UOBM. All photos and entries must reach UOBM latest by 5pm on 28 August 2018 to be eligible to participate in the Competition. 4.6 All shortlisted participants are required to submit the actual shortlisted paintings to UOBM. The venue and deadline of submission will be informed by phone based on the contact number stated in the entry form (unless otherwise informed by the participants in writing to UOBM). If the shortlisted participants fail to submit the paintings by the deadline as informed, they will be deemed to have withdrawn from this Competition. 4.7 The shortlisted participants will be contacted during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm). If the shortlisted participants cannot be contacted after three (3) attempts for any reasons whatsoever, the shortlisted participants will be deemed to have withdrawn from this Competition. 4.8 Paintings that have not dried completely will not be accepted. 4.9 All packaging must be removed before submission of the painting. Packaging may be removed onsite at the submissions venue, but note that no storage will be provided by the organiser for any such packaging A proxy may be appointed by the shortlisted participant to submit the painting on his/ her behalf. The proxy must provide a signed authorisation letter (in UOBM s format which is enclosed with the entry form) from the shortlisted participant and a copy of the participant s passport or identity card UOBM reserves the right to reject the submission of the paintings by the proxy in the event that the proxy fails to provide the duly executed authorisation letter in UOBM s format and/or a copy of the participant s passport or identity card. 5. Judging 5.1 Entries will be judged by a panel of local and/or overseas artists/art connoisseurs/ art critics/curators or other creative professionals appointed at the discretion of UOBM. The decision of the judges is final. No correspondence will be entered into on this subject before, during, and/or after the Competition. 5.2 Artworks will be judged based on these criteria: message, creativity, composition and technique. 5.3 UOBM reserves the right not to award any of the stipulated prizes should entries fail, in the judges opinion, to meet the required standards. 6. Announcement of Results 6.1 All shortlisted participants will be notified by phone and/or on or before 12 October The UOB Southeast Asian Painting of the Year award winner will be announced at an award ceremony in Singapore in November 2018 or on such other date as may be determined by the organiser in its discretion. 6.2 All award-winning entries will be part of the 37th UOB Painting of the Year exhibition. 7. Return of Entries 7.1 All photo submission will not be returned to the participants. 7.2 With the exception of the shortlisted entries, all other submitted artwork must be collected between 19 and 21 October 2018 from 11am to 5pm daily. Any submitted artwork which is not collected by 5pm on 21 October 2018 shall be deemed as the property of UOBM and may (without limitation) be retained, utilised, or otherwise disposed of in whatever way the organiser deems fit. 8. Copyright/Intellectual Property 8.1 All entry materials submitted to UOBM in accordance with these rules and regulations must be original works of the participant. The participant must also be the owner of all submitted materials. 8.2 All award-winning entries including the documents and materials submitted to UOBM shall be the sole property of UOBM. UOBM reserves the right to retain all winning artworks and any supporting documentation. Participants are advised to photograph their submissions for their own records prior to submission. UOB Southeast Asian Painting of the Year Award US$10,000 This regional prize is awarded to the most outstanding of the four (4) UOB Painting of the Year Award country winners. 8.3 All winners shall grant UOBM unlimited worldwide, royalty-free, exclusive licence to exhibit, archive and reproduce images of their winning entries (including, but not limited to brochures, calendars, catalogues, greeting cards and websites). Fukuoka Asian Art Museum Residency Programme One (1) of the four (4) UOB Painting of the Year Award country winners will be selected for a residency programme at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum. The recipient will be selected through an interview process conducted by the judges of the Competition. 8.4 * One (1) award recipient per country. Emerging Artist Category *Most Promising Artist of the Year Award MYR15,000 *Gold Award MYR10,000 *Silver Award *Bronze Award MYR6,000 MYR3,800 * One (1) award recipient per country. 4. Submission of Entries 4.1 All participants are required to submit an 8R size photo of the artwork they wish to enter into the competition. Each participant undertakes to indemnify and hold harmless UOBM, its officers and agents from and against any and/or all liabilities, losses, damages, costs and/or expenses in relation to any claim or action brought against UOBM or its officers and agents arising out of a breach of this warranty. 9. Acceptance of Rules and Regulations 9.1 Submission of entries signifies acceptance of the rules and regulations of the Competition. While all possible care will be taken of the entries submitted, UOBM assumes no responsibility for any loss of or damage to the entries before, during, and/ or after the Competition. 9.2 These rules and regulations shall be governed by the law of Malaysia and the participant hereby agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia and consent to service of process by mail or in any other manner permitted by the laws of Malaysia. 9.3 A waiver (whether expressed or implied) by UOBM of any of the provisions of these rules and regulations or of any breach of or default by entrant participant in performing any of those provisions shall not constitute a continuing waiver and that waiver shall not prevent UOBM from acting on any subsequent breach of or default by the participant under any of the provisions of these rules and regulations. 9.4 None of these rules and regulations shall be enforceable by a person who is not a party to this competition. 10. Use of Personal Data 4.2 All submissions must be accompanied by an official entry form and a write-up on each painting. Only one entry form is required per participant. Photocopies of the form will be accepted By submitting an entry to UOBM, the participant agrees to allow UOBM, its related corporations, and their agents, to share his/her personal data among themselves, to collect and use the data, and to disclose the data to the Companies authorised service providers, for the following purposes: 4.3 Each submission must have a completed label (provided in the entry forms) attached to the top right-hand corner of the back of the painting. 6 Syarat dan Peraturan Pertandingan 2018 UOB Painting of the Year 1. Kelayakan 1.1 Pertandingan 2018 UOB Painting of the Year ( Pertandingan ) ini dianjurkan oleh United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd ( UOBM ). 1.2 Pertandingan ini terbuka kepada semua Warganegara Malaysia dan Pemastautin Tetap. Penyertaan dalam Pertandingan adalah percuma. 1.3 Ibu bapa atau penjaga sah bagi peserta yang berumur 18 tahun atau ke bawah mesti memberi keizinan kepada beliau untuk menyertai Pertandingan ini dalam borang penyertaan serta bersetuju dengan syarat dan peraturannya. 2. Pertandingan 2.1 Pertandingan ini dibahagikan kepada dua kategori: (1) Pelukis Baru dan (2) Pelukis Mapan. a. Kategori Pelukis Baru terbuka kepada pelukis beraspirasi yang sedang mempelajari pendidikan seni; yang baru sahaja memulakan kerjaya dalam bidang seni; atau yang gemar melukis untuk keseronokan. b. Kategori Pelukis Mapan terbuka kepada profesional berpengalaman yang mempunyai portfolio hasil seni yang mantap. Mereka mesti pernah mempamerkan lukisan mereka dalam pameran secara solo atau berkumpulan (tidak termasuk pameran tamat pengajian); diwakili oleh galeri; atau telah menerima pengiktirafan melalui anugerah seni. c. Tiada had umur bagi kategori Pelukis Baru atau Pelukis Mapan. 2.2 Para peserta boleh menghantar karya seni mereka dalam hanya satu daripada dua kategori tersebut. Setiap perserta boleh menghantar tidak lebih daripada tiga (3) penyertaan untuk kategori pilihannya. 2.3 Lukisan dalam bentuk akrilik, batik, berus Cina, kolaj, krayon, dakwat, media campuran, minyak, cat air atau mana-mana media lain akan diterima. 2.4 Karya seni dalam bentuk video, pemasangan dan ukiran tidak akan diterima. UOBM berhak untuk menolak permohonan tanpa memberi apa jua sebab. 2.5 Kolaj, lukisan timbul dua dimensi dan lukisan tiga dimensi akan diterima, tertakluk kepada ketebalan maksimum 5 sm (termasuk bingkai). 2.6 Lukisan yang dihantar mestilah asli dan tidak dihasilkan lebih daripada dua tahun sebelum tarikh penyerahan. 2.7 Para peserta tidak boleh menyerahkan karya yang pernah ditawarkan untuk dijual, diterbitkan, atau dipamerkan secara umum. UOBM boleh, pada budi bicara tunggal dan mutlaknya, melakukan pengecualian bagi karya pelajar seni sepenuh masa yang telah dipamerkan di pameran tamat pengajian masing-masing tetapi yang belum ditawarkan untuk dijual, diterbitkan, atau dipamerkan dalam sebarang bentuk lain. 2.8 Pembingkaian tidak diwajibkan. 4.5 Semua gambar dan penyertaan akan dianggap telah diterima oleh UOBM pada hari dan masa UOBM menerima gambar dan penyertaan tersebut. UOBM tidak akan bertanggungjawab dalam apa-apa cara sekalipun kepada peserta sekiranya mana-mana gambar dan/atau penyertaan telah hilang, tersalah letak atau rosak semasa penghantaran ke UOBM. Semua gambar dan penyertaan mesti sampai ke UOBM selewat-lewatnya pukul 5.00 petang pada 28 Ogos 2018 supaya layak menyertai Pertandingan. 4.6 Semua peserta yang disenarai pendek perlu menyerahkan lukisan asli yang disenarai pendek tersebut kepada UOBM. Tempat dan tarikh akhir penyerahan akan dimaklumkan melalui telefon berdasarkan nombor telefon yang dinyatakan dalam borang penyertaan (kecuali dimaklumkan sebaliknya secara bertulis oleh peserta kepada UOBM). Jika peserta yang disenarai pendek gagal menyerahkan lukisan pada tarikh akhir yang dimaklumkan, mereka akan dianggap telah menarik diri dari Pertandingan ini. 4.7 Para peserta yang disenarai pendek akan dihubungi pada waktu pejabat (Isnin hingga Jumaat, 9.00 pagi hingga 6.00 petang). Jika peserta yang disenarai pendek tidak dapat dihubungi selepas tiga (3) percubaan atas apa-apa sebab sekalipun, peserta yang disenarai pendek tersebut akan dianggap telah menarik diri dari Pertandingan ini. 4.8 Lukisan yang belum kering sepenuhnya tidak akan diterima. 4.9 Semua pembungkusan mesti dikeluarkan sebelum penyerahan lukisan. Pembungkusan boleh dikeluarkan di tempat penyerahan, namun demikian, sila dimaklumkan bahawa penganjur tidak menyediakan tempat simpanan untuk apa-apa pembungkusan sedemikian Peserta yang disenarai pendek boleh melantik seorang wakil untuk menyerahkan lukisan bagi pihak beliau. Wakil tersebut mesti memberikan surat kebenaran yang ditandatangani (dalam format UOBM yang dilampirkan bersama borang penyertaan) daripada peserta yang disenarai pendek serta salinan pasport atau kad pengenalan peserta UOBM berhak untuk menolak penyerahan lukisan oleh wakil sekiranya wakil tersebut gagal memberikan surat kebenaran yang sewajarnya dalam format UOBM dan/atau salinan pasport atau kad pengenalan peserta. 5. Penghakiman 5.1 Penyertaan akan dihakimi oleh panel tempatan dan/atau luar negara yang terdiri daripada pelukis/pakar seni/pengkritik seni/kurator atau golongan profesional kreatif lain yang dilantik pada budi bicara UOBM. Keputusan hakim adalah muktamad. Sebarang surat-menyurat mengenai perkara ini tidak akan dilayan sebelum, semasa dan/atau selepas Pertandingan. 5.2 Karya seni akan dihakimi berdasarkan kriteria berikut: mesej, kreativiti, komposisi dan teknik. 5.3 UOBM berhak untuk tidak memberikan sebarang hadiah yang ditetapkan sekiranya penyertaan gagal memenuhi piawaian yang diperlukan pada pendapat hakim. 6. Pengumuman Keputusan 6.1 Semua peserta yang disenarai pendek akan dimaklumkan melalui telefon dan/atau e-mel pada atau sebelum 12 Oktober Pemenang anugerah UOB Painting of the Year Asia Tenggara akan diumumkan di suatu majlis anugerah di Singapura pada November 2018 atau pada tarikh lain sedemikian yang mungkin ditentukan oleh pihak penganjur pada budi bicaranya. 2.9 Lukisan perlu berada dalam lingkungan ketinggian dan kelebaran 180 sentimeter (termasuk bingkai). 6.2 Semua penyertaan yang memenangi anugerah akan dipamerkan di pameran UOB Painting of the Year yang ke Pemulangan Penyertaan Lukisan yang dikemukakan sebagai siri karya seni tunggal tidak boleh melebihi tiga (3) keping yang membentuk keseluruhan karya seni tersebut, atau jika digabungkan, hendaklah dikemukakan sebagai triptych (karya seni 3 panel). Ukuran keseluruhan bagi ketigatiga keping berasingan yang digabungkan bagi membentuk keseluruhan karya seni dan/atau triptych (jika digabungkan) perlu berada dalam lingkungan ketinggian dan kelebaran 180 sentimeter. 3. Hadiah 3.1 Hadiah bagi kedua-dua kategori adalah seperti berikut: Kategori Pelukis Mapan * Anugerah UOB Painting of the Year MYR100,000 * Anugerah Emas MYR45,000 * Anugerah Perak MYR35,000 * Anugerah Gangsa MYR22,000 Anugerah UOB Painting of the Year Asia Tenggara US$10,000 Hadiah serantau ini dianugerahkan kepada peserta terbaik di antara empat (4) pemenang Anugerah Painting of the Year dari setiap negara. Program Residensi Muzium Seni Asia Fukuoka Seorang (1) daripada empat (4) pemenang Anugerah Painting of the Year dari setiap negara akan dipilih untuk menyertai program residensi di Muzium Seni Asia Fukuoka. Penerima anugerah ini akan dipilih melalui proses temuduga yang dijalankan oleh para hakim Pertandingan. * Seorang (1) pemenang dari setiap negara. Penghantaran Penyertaan 4.1 Semua peserta perlu menghantar gambar bersaiz 8R bagi karya seni yang mereka ingin masukkan ke dalam Pertandingan. 4.2 Semua penyerahan mesti disertakan dengan borang penyertaan rasmi dan ulasan bertulis mengenai setiap lukisan. Hanya satu borang penyertaan diperlukan bagi setiap peserta. Salinan borang akan diterima. 4.3 Setiap penyerahan mesti mempunyai label yang lengkap (disediakan dalam borang penyertaan) yang dilekatkan pada bahagian atas sudut kanan di belakang lukisan. Semua maklumat mesti ditulis dengan jelas dalam huruf besar di atas label tersebut. 4.4 Gambar dan borang penyertaan hendaklah dihantar melalui pos ke: Pertandingan 2018 UOB Painting of the Year (Malaysia) c/o GB@Work Sdn Bhd 36, Jalan SS20/11, Damansara Utama Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia 7.1 Semua gambar yang diserahkan tidak akan dikembalikan kepada peserta. 7.2 Selain penyertaan yang disenarai pendek, semua karya seni lain yang diserahkan mesti diambil balik antara 19 hingga 21 Oktober 2018 dari jam pagi hingga 5.00 petang setiap hari. Apaapa karya seni yang tidak diambil balik pada jam 5.00 petang pada 21 Oktober 2018 akan dianggap sebagai hak milik UOBM dan mungkin (tanpa had) akan disimpan, digunakan, atau sebaliknya dilupuskan dalam apa-apa cara yang dianggap sesuai oleh penganjur. 8. Hak Cipta/Harta Intelektual 8.1 Semua bahan penyerahan yang dihantar ke UOBM mengikut syarat dan peraturan ini mestilah karya asal peserta. Peserta juga mesti merupakan pemilik semua bahan yang dihantar. 8.2 Semua penyertaan yang memenangi anugerah termasuk dokumen dan bahan yang dihantar ke UOBM akan menjadi hak milik tunggal UOBM. UOBM berhak untuk menyimpan semua karya seni yang memenangi anugerah dan sebarang dokumentasi sokongan. Peserta dinasihatkan untuk mengambil gambar karya seni mereka untuk rekod mereka sendiri sebelum penyerahan. 8.3 Semua pemenang hendaklah memberi keizinan kepada UOBM untuk mempamerkan, mengarkib dan menghasilkan semula imej penyertaan mereka yang memenangi anugerah (termasuk, tetapi tidak terhad kepada risalah, kalendar, katalog, kad ucapan dan laman web) secara eksklusif, tanpa had di seluruh dunia dan tanpa bayaran royalti. 8.4 Setiap peserta bersetuju untuk melindungi dan tidak mempertanggungjawabkan UOBM, pegawai dan agennya daripada dan terhadap sebarang dan/atau semua liabiliti, kerugian, ganti rugi, kos dan/atau perbelanjaan berhubung dengan sebarang tuntutan atau tindakan yang diambil terhadap UOBM atau pegawai dan agennya yang timbul daripada pelanggaran jaminan ini. 9. Penerimaan Syarat dan Peraturan 9.1 Penghantaran penyertaan menandakan penerimaan syarat dan peraturan Pertandingan. Walaupun semua penyertaan yang dihantar akan dijaga dengan selamat, UOBM tidak bertanggungjawab terhadap sebarang kehilangan atau kerosakan kepada penyertaan sama ada sebelum, semasa dan/atau selepas Pertandingan. 9.2 Syarat dan peraturan ini akan ditadbir oleh undang-undang Malaysia dan peserta dengan ini bersetuju untuk menyerahkan kepada bidang kuasa tidak eksklusif mahkamah di Malaysia dan bersetuju dengan penyampaian proses melalui pos atau dalam apa-apa cara lain yang dibenarkan oleh undang-undang Malaysia. 9.3 Pengecualian (sama ada secara nyata atau tersirat) oleh UOBM untuk sebarang peruntukan dalam syarat dan peraturan ini atau apa-apa pelanggaran atau keingkaran peserta dalam melaksanakan sebarang peruntukan tersebut tidak akan membentuk pengecualian berterusan dan pengecualian tersebut tidak akan menghalang UOBM daripada mengambil tindakan ke atas mana-mana pelanggaran berikutnya atau keingkaran oleh peserta di bawah sebarang peruntukan dalam syarat dan peraturan ini. 9.4 Tiada syarat dan peraturan di sini boleh dikuatkuasakan oleh seseorang yang bukan pihak kepadanya. 10. Menghubungi pemenang anugerah dan/atau peserta untuk membincang mengenai sebarang pameran masa hadapan, acara publisiti yang berkaitan dengan karya seni mereka serta acara seni yang lain. b. Mewujudkan senarai mel alumni UOB Painting of the Year bagi tujuan komunikasi dengan ahli alumni. c. Melaksanakan semua kerja pentadbiran yang berkaitan Pertandingan. * Sekiranya terdapat sebarang percanggahan, versi Bahasa Inggeris akan diutamakan.

7 条款与规则 2018年大华银行 年度之画 竞赛 参赛资格 1.1 大华银行 年度之画 竞赛 以下简称 竞赛 的主办单位为大华银行 (马来西亚 有限公司 以下简称 马来西亚大华银行 1.2 此竞赛开放予所有马来西亚公民和永久居民参加 竞赛是免费的 岁或以下的参赛者须获得父母或合法监护人在参赛表格上注明许可 并 同意接受竞赛的所有条款与规则 2. 竞赛详情 2.1 竞赛分成两个组别: (1) 新锐画家组 及 2 资深画家组 a. 新锐画家组开放予正在进修美术课程 有意开展艺术事业 或是以作画为 爱好 拥有艺术抱负的画家们参加 b. 资深画家组开放予经验丰富且拥有成熟作品系列的专业画家 他们须曾在 个展或群展中展出画作 不包括学校毕业画展 由画廊代理其作品 或 曾获取美术奖项表彰 c. 新锐画家组或资深画家组皆无年龄限制 2.2 参赛者的作品只能报名参加两个组别中的其中一组 在所选的组别下 每名参 赛者只能呈交最多三 3 幅画作 2.3 参赛者可采用塑胶彩 丙烯 蜡染 中国毛笔 拼贴 蜡笔 油墨 混 合媒介 油彩 水彩或其他任何媒介进行创作 2.4 影片创作 装置艺术和雕塑皆不被接受 马来西亚大华银行保留以任何理由拒 绝接受的权利 2.5 拼贴画 平面浮雕画及三维立体画皆被接受 惟最高厚度为5厘米 包括 画框在内 2.6 参赛的画作必须为原创画作 且从完成至呈交日期不可超过两年 2.7 参赛者不可呈交曾被贩售 发表 或公开展出的画作 大华银行能以其唯一 和绝对的酌情权 破例接受美术系全职学生曾在其学校毕业展览中展出 但未 经贩售 发表 或以其他任何形式展出的画作 2.8 参赛者可选择为画作上框与否 2.9 画作的高度和宽度介于 180 厘米 包括其画框 之内 2.10 由一系列画作组成的单一参赛画作最多只能包含三 (3) 张作品 或以三 联画 三幅相连画作 的形式参赛 组成整体画作和/或三联画 若接 合 的所有三 3 张作品的总高度或总宽度介于 180 厘米之内 3. 奖项 3.1 两个组别的奖项如下: 资深画家组 * 大华银行 年度之画 奖 100,000 令吉 * 金奖 45,000 令吉 * 银奖 35,000 令吉 * 铜奖 22,000 令吉 大华银行东南亚 年度之画 奖 10,000 美元 这项区域奖项将颁发予上述四 4 国的大华银行 年度之画 奖得奖画家 中 表现最突出的一 1 名画家 福岗亚洲美术馆驻馆创作计划 上述四 4 国的大华银行 年度之画 奖得奖画家之中 其中一 1 名将 获选参与福岗亚洲美术馆的驻馆创作计划 大华银行 年度之画 竞赛评审 将通过面试遴选出该名参与者 * 每个国家一 1 名得奖者 新锐画家组 * 大华银行年度最具潜力画家奖 15,000 令吉 * 金奖 10,000 令吉 * 银奖 6,000 令吉 * 铜奖 3,800 令吉 * 每个国家一 1 名得奖者 4.参赛作品呈交 4.1 所有参赛者须为每份参赛作品呈交8R大小的相片 4.2 所有参赛作品须附上一份正式的参赛表格及有关每项画作的一段简介文 字 每名参赛者只需呈交一份参赛表格 主办单位接受复印表格 4.3 每项参赛作品的背面右上角须贴上完整的标签 附在参赛表格内 标 签上的所有资料须以大写字体清晰书写 4.4 所有呈交的相片连同参赛表格必须邮寄至: 2018 UOB Painting of the Year (Malaysia) Competition c/o GB@Work Sdn Bhd 36, Jalan SS20/11, Damansara Utama Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia 马来西亚大华银行收件的日期和时间将被视为接收所有相片和参赛表格的 正式时间 任何相片及/或参赛表格在邮寄途中遗失 遗漏或遭损坏 马 来西亚大华银行将一概不对参赛者承担任何责任 所有相片和参赛表格须 最迟于2018年8月28日下午5时正呈交至马来西亚大华银行 以获得参赛资格 4.6 所有入围的参赛者必须将真实的入围画作呈交至马来西亚大华银行 主办 单位将根据参赛表格上注明的电话号码 除非参赛者以书信方式通知马来 西亚大华银行 联系参赛者 通知有关画作的呈交地点和截止日期 若入 围的参赛者无法在限定的期限内将画作呈上 将被视为退出此竞赛 4.7 主办单位将在办公时间 星期一至五 上午9时至下午6时 内联络入围的 参赛者 无论任何原因 若在三 3 次尝试后仍未能联络上入围的参赛 者 该名入围的参赛者将被视为退出此竞赛 4.8 主办单位将不接受尚未全干的画作 4.9 呈交前 须除去画作的所有包装 参赛者可在呈交地点现场除去有关包 装 但须注意的是 主办单位不会保管有关包装 4.10入围的参赛者可委任代表以呈交参赛画作 惟 其代表须附上参赛者的签 署授权书 以马来西大华银行随参赛表格提供的格式 及入围参赛 者的护照或身份证副本 4.11 若参赛者的代表无法提供马来西亚大华银行规定格式的正式签署授权书 及/或参赛者的护照或身份证副本 马来西亚大华银行保留拒绝接收该画 作的权利 5. 评选 5.1 参赛画作将由本地及/或海外画家/艺术鉴赏家/艺术评论家/策展人或 马来西亚大华银行在自行决定下委任的其他专业创意工作者组成的评审 团进行评选 评审的决定为最终决议 在竞赛之前 期间及/或之后 此方面的异议恕不受理 5.2 画作的评选标准 传达的讯息 创意 构图和技巧 5.3 若评审团认为未有任何参赛作品达到规定的标准 马来西亚大华银行保 留不颁发预定奖项的权利 6. 竞赛结果通知 6.1 主办单位将于2018年10月12日或前通过电话及/或电邮 通知所有入围 的参赛者 主办单位将于2018年11月或其自行决定的其它日期在新加坡 举行的颁奖典礼上 公布大华银行东南亚 年度之画 奖的优胜者姓 名 6.2 所有得奖作品将成为第37届大华银行 年度之画 展览的一部分展示 品 7. 参赛画作归还程序 7.1 所有呈交的相片恕不退还 7.2 除了入围的画作 所有其它画作的参赛者必须于2018 年 10 月 19日 至21 日上午11时至下午5 时之间领回其画作 未能在 2018 年 10 月 21 日下午5 时前领回的任何参赛画作将被视为马来西亚大华银行的财 产 并能以主办单位认为适合的任何方式 不限于 保存 运用或处 置 8. 著作权/知识产权 8.1 依照本条款与规则呈交给马来西亚大华银行的所有参赛画材必须为参赛 者的原创作品 参赛者亦须是所呈交画材的拥有者 8.2 所有得奖画作 包括呈交予马来西亚大华银行的所有文件及材料 皆为马 来西亚大华银行专有财产 马来西亚大华银行有权保留所有得奖画作及任 何证明文件 建议参赛者在呈交作品前为其参赛画作拍摄照片作为记录 8.3 所有得奖者将授予马来西亚大华银行全球无限制 免版税 专有的权力以展 出 存档和复制其得奖画作的图像 包括但不限于小册子 月历 商品目录 贺卡和网站 8.4 每名参赛者承诺补偿及使马来西亚大华银行 其职员和代理免于因参赛 者违反此项保证使马来西亚大华银行或其职员和代理面对任何索偿或诉 讼的任何及/或所有赔偿责任 损失 损害 成本及/或费用 9. 接纳竞赛条款与规则 9.1 呈交参赛画作意味着参赛者接纳竞赛的条件与规则 马来西亚大华银行 将尽其所能保护所呈交的参赛画作 但不针对任何参赛画作在竞赛前 期间及/或之后所产生的任何损失或损坏承担责任 9.2 此竞赛的条款与规则将受马来西亚的法律管辖 及参赛者谨此同意遵从马 来西亚法院之非专属审判权 并且默认程序中以邮件或马来西亚法律允许 的任何其它方式送达的传票 9.3 马来西亚大华银行豁免 明示或暗示 此竞赛条款与规则之任何条文 或竞赛参与者对任何此等条文的任何违反行为 将不应构成任何持续性 的豁免 且该豁免将不妨碍马来西亚大华银行对参赛者后续的此等竞赛 条款与规则违反行为采取行动的权力 9.4 如果某个人士不是这些条款与细则的任何协议一方 则无权执行这些条款与细 则的任何条款 10.个人资料的使用 10.1 通过提交参赛画作予马来西亚大华银行 参赛者同意并允许马来西亚大 华银行 其相关机构 及其代理 分享他/她的个人资料 以收集和使 用有关资料 并向公司的授权服务供应商披露相关资料 供作下述用 途 a. 联系得奖者及/或参赛者 以讨论与其作品有关的任何未来展览会 宣传活动和其它艺术活动事宜 b. 设立一份大华银行 年度之画 竞赛的竞赛者通讯录 用于联络与通讯 c. 执行与比赛有关的所有必要的行政工作 * 若此文件与英文版有任何偏差 应以英文版本为准
