The overall aim of the Programme is to provide the professional training necessary for teaching in local schools. 38 Bachelor of Science Education (Honours) Science and Web Technology Programme (Four-year Full-time) On-line application: Programme Aims This is a self-financed and government-recognised programme that aims to provide students with a wide range of knowledge and skills in the disciplines of science education and web technology so that they could integrate and apply such knowledge and skills in future careers related to web technology and/or science education. Graduates could choose to pursue a teaching career by completing an additional year of professional teacher training (e.g., PGDE) so that they can teach science and computer subjects in primary or secondary schools. 53 The School of Communication, Hong Kong Baptist University Multimedia Orientation; Theory-Practice Integration Since 1968, the Department of Communication, now the School of Communication, at Hong Kong Baptist University has offered undergraduate programmes with options in journalism, organizational communication studies, public relations and advertising and cinema and television.
