This study makes use of the rich data from the China National Nutrition and Health Survey (CNNHS) conducted in By combining the methods of factor analysis with cluster analysis, we successfully identified four consumer segments, namely Yellow earth, Green water, Newly affluent, and Western adopter. These four groups of consumers differ significantly with respect to body mass index (BMI) and socio-demographic factors. We conclude the paper with relevant policy recommendations. Increase of Productivity RateTechnical Progress and Change of Efficiency in China s Maize Processing Industry Yang Xinglong & Wang Kai53 This paper utilized the panel data in the maize processing industry in different provinces and DEA-Malmquist Index to analyze the change of Total Factor Productivity (TFP) during the growth of china s maize industry.
