Three stages in making a covenant with God 1. Stage 1: God reveals his will and makes a promise to you. 神向你顯明他的旨意 2. Stage 2: You meet the conditions God established. 你達到神所要求的條件 3. Stage 3: You believes in God and receives the blessing. 你相信神並接受祝福

1. Active faith: I live by faith, not by sight. That s how I operate. For we live by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor. 5:7) But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 2. Obedient heart: I choose to do God s will no matter what. Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. John 7:17 Which one of the following will know God s will: 1) Lord, I m willing to be whatever you want me to be as long as it s not a missionary. 2) Lord, I m willing to be a missionary as long as it s in the United States. 3) Lord, I m here, send me. I don t have as long as. Just send me.
3. Internalized Word: I have a good storage of God s word inside of me. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7 你們若常在我裡面, 我的話也常在你們裡面, 凡你們所願意的, 祈求就給你們成就 ( 約 15:7)
4. Matured judgment: My senses are matured enough to make sound judgment. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil. (Hebrews 5:14) 惟獨長大成人的才能吃乾糧 ; 他們的心竅習練得通達, 就能分辨好歹了 希伯來書 5:14
5. Prompting of the Spirit 聖靈的感動 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them. 6. Agreement of the church 教會的同意 Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. Breastplate of Righteousness Put on the Breastplate of Righteousness 1. Put on a heart search : Ask God to search your heart to reveal any wicked way in it. 2. Put on your confession: Confess any sin. 3. Put on Christ s righteousness: Claim Christ s righteousness to cover your sins and to give you right standing with him.
Put on the Sword of Spirit The Word of God 1. Put on a grasp on the Word: Hold it to your HEART. 2. Put on the Holy Spirit to use the Word: It is His sword. 3. Put on a basis to your prayers : Base your prayers on God s Word.
Put on the Shield of Faith 1. Put on a winning attitude: Claim the victory by faith. 2. Put on your steps: Faith without works is dead. Walk the talk. Just do it. 3. Put on the defense : D-E-F-E-N-D! Quench all of the fiery darts from Satan by faith.

Use guide to intercession during your prayer time. Memorize Ephesians 6:18. List the names of unsaved persons. Pray for them. Learn the gospel shoes. Review the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the sword of the Spirit, and the shield of faith.

Brainstorm reasons why God does not always answer the way we want him to. 4. Quote 1 John 5:14-15 to each other. 5. Practice: 1) Explain the spiritual armor to each other. 2) Explain God s word in your Heart and Hand. 6. Pray with praise and thanksgiving.
