Changbaishan () region twice. Mukedeng s borderland m ission included activities of border demarcation and atlas comp iling, so the result of this m ission remains in Huangyuquanlantu. U sing the atlas and other historical literatures left by Chinese and Korean, this paper makes a new research into the original location the Shenshibei(). W hether the borderland p rovinces deserving a special policy or not, became a controver2 sial question among the central governm ent officials and borderland governors, while they also had consensus on that issue. Tulufan basin and the eastern part of Tians2 han region was the original p lace of Oghuz peop le, namely the core tribe of Turk emp ire.
