Yuan-Qi-Yin-Fire hypothesis was one part of important thought in Pi-Wei-Lun described by Li s. Li s though that all diseases occurred were relationship with middle burner of Yuan-Qi from spleen and stomach. Over of diet, working hard and emotional stress will be main cause of spleen and stomach qi vacuity. When the spleen qi vacuity, G-I function disturbance and small intestine malabsorption as well as nutrition metabolism dysregularity will be present. Yin-Fire is developed from Yuan-Qi insufficiency of spleen and stomach. The histopathological lesion of Yin-Fire is in small intestine. The therapeutic method is called eliminate heat with warmth and sweetness. The classic prescription is Bu-Zhong-Yi- Qi-Tang (BZYQT). The clinic symptoms of Yin-Fire may be repletion or vacuity heat patterns.the symptoms of vacuity heat patterns were Spleen and Lung vacuity patterns, including qi-vacuity, headache, anemia, easily catch a cold, chill and fever. On concept of Chinese Immunology, the spleen governs digestion and absorption of nutrition as well as governs defence mechanism of immunity disorder. On the other hand, the lung governed immunity barrier is also influenced. The symptoms of repletion heat patterns as fact are developed from the foundation of vacuity heat patterns in constitution.
