TheAchievements and Prospects of Food Quality and Safety Supervision ZHOU Jiehong WU Zongli Li Kai Abstract Food safety situation in China is generally stable but current regulatory system still needs to be shifted from management to governance. This paper reviews the development of China's food safety regulatory system regulatory features and emphasizes the problems of current regulatory system accordingly summarizes the experience of US and EU puts forward the prospects of China's food safety regulatory system reform including the construction of standard and evaluation system optimization of the regulatory process resources and methods interdepartmental cooperation mechanism heteronomy and self-discipline standardization perfection of traceability system and realization of society co-governance.
