東華三院盧幹庭紀念中學 家教會會訊 二零一一年八月 會所電話 2944 1524 第十四期 學校網址 http://www.lktmc.edu.hk Health is more important than Wealth 此語啟 發了我必須注意身體健康 運動能使人身體健康 運動項目種類五花八門 而我只選擇了長跑 人所 皆知 長跑 是鍛鍊體能之基本功 對我來說 練 習長跑最能從 苦楚之中找到新趣味 何謂 趣 味 此乃天機 不如留待大家自行發掘吧 在每年盧中陸運會中 看見每位同學都盡心盡力地比賽 使我也想參與其中 但是我只識得跑 跑 跑 所以每年的三千米長跑項目比賽 我必會落場與老 師 同工及學生比試一番 而從中回憶當年 在此要多謝校長 老師 各位家長及同學的支持 使我再一次當選為家教會主 席 給我更多機會參與服務及各項活動 我一定會盡我所能 做好呢份工 今年 委員中有好多新面孔 如副主席陳麗琼女士 秘書鍾綺薇女士和財政楊 嘉怡老師 還有很多新委員助理 期望家教會能為盧中帶來更多新亮點 在此再一 次衷心多謝以往為大家服務的委員 謝謝 主席的話 話 的 長 校 陳振奮主席 經過長達半年的討論和諮詢 本校得到東華三院 法團校董會及各 持份者的支持 於三月向教育局提出申請參與 自願優化班級結構計 劃 並獲批准 減班安排由明年中一開始 我們將會利用 計劃 的額 外資源 改善學與教的環境及效能 年初向家長及學生派發了一套問卷 蒐集大家對學校各方面的意見 評 估結果如下 嚴展明校長 我們會仔細分析所得數據 制定未來的發展方向及優化措 施 期望家長能繼續支持並給予寶貴意見 本年度發現不少同學經常欠交功課 為了提醒同學主動學 習 及早戒除陋習 由三月下旬開始實施新的安排 同學如多次 欠交功課有可能被記缺點 詳情見3月21日的家長通知書 在此 向各家長作出呼籲 讓家校一齊向同學發出清晰的信息 準時完 成及遞交功課乃學生一己之責 同學應珍惜每一個學習機會 充 實自己 毋負家長及社會對他們的期望 學校地址 香港新界元朗朗屏邨 學校電話 2474 2678 學校傳真 2474 7086 學校電郵 lkt-mail@ike.hkcampus.net
訓導 專訪陳文達主任談學生 攜帶手機回校 使用手機在現今香港相當普遍 而學生可否攜帶手機上學一直是同學和家長關注的問題 有見及此 家教 會特邀請訓導陳文達主任接受訪問 讓家長和學生多理解學校立場 陳老師表示訓導組為此曾多次深入討論 最後仍決定維持現行做法 學生在未有特殊理由下 不可攜帶 手機回校 他指出元朗區大部分的學校均不贊成同學攜帶電話上學 陳老師強調兩大理由 現今手機功能繁多 除通話及收發信息之外 還可拍照 錄影 播放音樂及上 網等 必定會妨礙課堂學習 不排除有些不守規矩的學生甚或偷錄同學或老師片段上載互聯網 侵犯他人隱 私 這更是非法的行為 陳老師續說 學校一向不鼓勵同學攜帶手機 大量金錢或貴重財物回校 一方面避免朋輩間的炫耀風 氣 另一方面可避免偷竊案件發生 對於有家長和學生建議校方在上課前為同學保管手機 於放學離校前派回 陳老師表示 校方也曾就此參 考不同學校的做法 但發現執行有困難 既花時間 又易生混亂 徒添教職員工作負擔 所以最終沒有採納 陳老師指學校一向能作適時的權變 在一些特別上課日 如東華聯校陸運會 由於場館遠離學校 自行返 家的學生可以攜帶手機作回家時通訊之用 曾經有學生是香港代表隊隊員 受訓期間 常要晚歸 學校亦作通 融 但手機在上課期間仍需關上 遇上特別情況 如學生需跨境上學 家長也可以致函向學校申請攜機回校 陳文達老師總結時表示 現今學生常需參與不同的課外活動 家長擔心子女安全 絕對可以理解 所以 學校特意在接待處裝置電話 讓學生活動後可致電報平安 但為了維持樸素良實 知禮守規的學風 確保學 習氣氛不受干擾 希望家長和同學都能理解學校不准攜帶手機上學的政策 班聚與交流 家長 教 記者 6A周凱怡 6S鍾秀玲 老師回應家長問題 師交流會 功 聚非常成 一級班 發起的中 代 由家長班 老師家長交流討論 2 校

時間真快, 小女入讀盧中已大半年了, 認識了一班好同學, 一起學習, 一起活動, 一起進步, 眼見她的校園生活越來越開心, 我也感到很高興 小學的時候, 小女性格非常內向, 升中之後, 慢慢融入盧中的大家庭裏, 性格開朗了許多, 人也自信起來 盧中最令我欣賞的是良好的校風 本人曾多次觀察學校放學時的情景, 見學生儀容整潔, 外表斯文, 言語有禮, 加上學生成績優良, 校風口碑載道, 才選擇了盧中作為小女的中學, 為了子女升學, 身為家長, 可真是費了一番心機 學得開心, 家長放心, 這樣的學校才是一所好學校 家長陳柳青 3-D Tragedies (Something happens miles away but seems to be touched easily by stretching arms) Do you realize that a new revolution has reached the camera world? 3-D fi lm production is now the trend and makes people come to the cinema again because hardly can they fi nd such an exciting effect and strong feeling at home. I love watching 3D movies too. However in these couple of weeks, what I learnt from the press were those 3-D pictures of tragedies touching my heart, touching my soul. I couldn t help having a deep feeling of sorrow when they reported the earthquakes happening in Japan. I am very proud of LKT s students who took part in the fundraising activities when the others were busy with their panic salt-buying; while people were worrying much about the radiation hazards across the ocean, our boys and girls were expressing sympathy for the victims through the yellow ribbon campaign. They have the correct scientifi c mind, positive attitude and heart of mercy. Defi nitely Japan s 311 Event was a tragedy; however, on a second thought, I would rather take it as a painful lesson instead. I strongly believe our next generation should have learnt more from it and are more ready to conserve water and food as well as the nature on the planet we are living. Besides, they should have known much better about controllable development of nuclear energy. 1986 s Russia s radiation leak has taught us that a city can become a deadly place even up till now; 2004 s Southern Asia tsunami made us perceive how cruel the ocean can be; 2008 s Sichuan earthquake let us know what disasters could be brought by the nature. On 11th March 2011, earthquakes, tsunami and radiation leak happened together on the very same day. How much have you learnt from this apocalypse? Hong Kong, a gift from God, is a place with the least natural disasters, we should do our best to protect our environment so as to cherish this wonderful land. Mr. Clinf Ko (F.1D Ko Tik Hang & F.5D Ko Tik Ming s father) It is time to say farewell to the school, and is my pleasure to write a few words upon the graduation of my daughter this summer. The seven-year school life, about 10% of average span of life, is not only a memorable moment for students in their learning path, but also a joyful period, or perhaps sometimes a depressive adventure, to us and their teachers as well. I remember when my daughter first joined the school seven years ago, it was indeed a great transition for us. We had to be patient and work with their teachers closely so as to provide the best guidance for her in passing the 7-year teenage period which is usually a common headache for many parents. Amongst the lucky parents, my daughter did not bring too much trouble to the school and us in the past years. The learning path also applied to us as well. Like many other parents, we had to learn how to compromise the old-day rules on strict obedience demand, hold a semi-blind and open mind, be reasonably respectful and train up our negotiation skills. Fortunately, the Principal and teachers always offered great advice to assist us and our children. Their contribution has been well received and this can be shown in the outstanding achievements of students in the school. We used to say that a good baker can turn powder into delicious bread and we are pleased to see that our teachers can really turn our children into responsible and hardworking learners. There was some hard time during their growing-up period for us and our children. We had endless debates on their learning attitude, appropriate behaviour, time management and selection of friends, etc. Very often our school acted as a landing platform for our children to analyse between right and wrong as well as positive and negative, and eventually achieve a mutual understanding. It is really a diffi cult task to establish a successful frame for a school without the full support of the School Management Broad, the sincere contribution of the Principal and the teachers, hard work of students and active participation of parents. The success of our school in gaining respectful feedback has proved the joint effort of all of us over a lengthy period. We do wish the school can keep the momentum in bringing up young people who are well equipped and willing to make positive contribution to the society. I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the School Management Broad, the Principal and teachers in offering such a great memorable moment to all of us.
