The tour will take you to visit the colonial and modern sections of this so-called "City of Kings". Colonial sites include the lovely Plaza de Armas with its cathedral and palace, the exquisite Torre Tagle Palace, modern day seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and The San Francisco Monastery and Catacombs. In modern Lima, drive through the exclusive residential areas of Miraflores and San Isidro. As Lima has a history of being home to Chinese immigrants over the years, today you will enjoy a Peruvian- Chinese lunch during the tour. We will then pay a visit to the Park of Love to see the statue El Beso as well as to appreciate the views of the Pacific Ocean. Then, it s on to visit the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco. There will also be some time to visit a local handicrafts market before returning to the hotel. 3 Lima Cusco ~ Sacred Valley ( / / ) Sonesta Hotel Posadas del Inca Yucay Today we head to the airport for the brief flight to Cusco, nestled high in the Andes Mountains.

Our first stop will be at Awana Kancha, a South American camelids farm and textile production center where local families demonstrate the traditional process of weaving and making garments.

You will find beautiful alpaca textiles, musical instruments, paintings, carvings, necklaces and replicas of ancient Incan pieces. Lunch will be served at Wayra Ranch.

2 3 Lima Cusco ~ Sacred Valley ( / / ) Sonesta Hotel Posadas del Inca Yucay Today we head to the airport for the brief flight to Cusco, nestled high in the Andes Mountains. On arrival, transfer to the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be at Awana Kancha, a South American camelids farm and textile production center where local families demonstrate the traditional process of weaving and making garments. Next, we visit the market in the town of Pisac to wander stalls displaying handicraft products made by the area s residents. You will find beautiful alpaca textiles, musical instruments, paintings, carvings, necklaces and replicas of ancient Incan pieces. Lunch will be served at Wayra Ranch. Delight yourself with the surprising variety of recipes prepared under the careful tutelage of renowned chefs. During lunch, enjoy a Peruvian Paso Horse show. The show features stunning equestrian demonstrations to the rhythm of marinera music. After lunch, we continue to Ollantaytambo. The town of Ollantaytambo is a typical example of Incan urban planning and the present-day residents still live in accordance with their old traditions. This town exhibits one of the most remarkable fortress complexes of the Inca Empire. (B/L/D) 4 Sacred Valley ~ Machu Picchu ~ Cusco Hotel Jose Antonio Cusco This morning from Ollanta Train Station we take a train ride through the mountains to Aguas Calientes. This town is also known as "Machu Picchu Pueblo" and is the last stop before the entrance to the most important archaeological site in Peru, Machu Picchu. Our train journey is approximately two hours. Upon reaching Aguas Calientes station, we board a shuttle bus for a short trip up to Machu Picchu, the masterpiece of engineering and architecture that is believed to have been the sanctuary and retreat for the Inca Emperor Pachacutec. Machu Picchu, or "Old Mountain", is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We will have a guided tour of the site. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Cafe Inkaterra. In the afternoon, return by train to Ollanta and transfer to hotel in Cusco. 5 Cusco Lima Qenko Wyndham Costa del Sol Lima Airport This morning we set out for a guided tour of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire Cusco, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the Western Hemisphere. The tour visits important landmarks such us Cusco's Cathedral, Plaza de Armas and Koricancha, "The Temple of the Sun". Take in a delightful combination of Inca and colonial architecture. We will also visit Sacsayhuaman Fortress. The fortress is an imposing example of Inca military architecture. It was built using colossal limestone blocks arranged in a variety of interlocking shapes. Continue to Qenko, an archaeological complex of mainly religious use where it is believed agricultural rituals were performed. Finally, we make a stop at Puka Pucara or, "Red Fortress", an architectural complex of alleged military use with multiple spaces, plazas, baths, aqueducts, walls and towers. Following our sightseeing, we will head to the airport for the flight back to Lima. P.3

Hotel Pestana This morning we will begin the day by continuing our Buenos Aires city tour, picking up where yesterday s tour left off to cover all the city s greatest attractions. This afternoon, there will be some free time for your own explorations or for souvenir shopping. Tonight, there is a fantastic opportunity to join an optional tour to attend a tango dinner show here in the city that gave birth to the tango! 8 Buenos Aires Iguassu Viale Cataratas Hotel Transfer to the airport this morning for the flight to Iguassu. Upon arrival in Iguassu, you will transfer directly to Iguassu's Argentina Falls National Park Center. From here, you will take either the train to the falls station or walk a charming foot path which will take you to two trails: The Upper and Lower Walk. You will have a chance to explore each trail. The Upper Walk consists of 8 meters of gangways stretched high above the ground. Along this circuit, you can watch the water falling from the top of the falls and enjoy its magnificence from an elevated viewpoint. The Lower Walk is a 1,6 meter gangway that o.ers views from the foot of the falls. You will have an amazing day in this natural paradise. Later, this evening, you will discover the traditional music and dances of Latin America and sample a variety of typical Brazilian and international dishes with an all-you-can-eat buffet at the well-known Rafain Dinner Show.
