There are risks and uncertainties associated with China s tax rules and practices. In relation to the Fund s investment in China A-shares and China A-shares Access Products, the Fund will not withhold (or will not request the issuer of the relevant investments to withhold) any amount of realised or unrealised capital gains on such investments as tax provision. The Fund may further modify its tax provision policy based on new developments and interpretation of the relevant regulations. The Fund may invest in financial derivative instruments for investment purpose and may suffer substantial loss if the relevant issuers default or the relevant instruments cannot be realised or perform badly. This may result in a loss to the Fund. The fixed income securities in which the Fund invests may not be traded on an active secondary market. The costs of hedging transactions which are conducted at the Fund level and hedging at the Fund level will preclude shareholders from benefitting from appreciation of the non-usd currencies (in which the underlying investments of the Fund may be denominated) against the reference currency of the Fund. In respect of currency hedged share classes, it aims to hedge the currency risk between the reference currency and the class currency of the currency hedged share class.
