From Airports to SJTU There are two international airports in Shanghai, one is Hong Qiao Airport (SHA), and the other is Pu Dong Airport (PVG). Each of them has 2 terminals (T1 and T2). and usually from each of the aboved airports it will take about one hour drive to the Minhang campus. [From PuDong International Airport (PVG) to SJTU Minhang Campus] [ 浦东国际机场 上海交通大学闵行校区 ] By Taxi It will cost RMB 200 ($30) approximately and takes about one hour from Pudong Airport to Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. By Public Transportation Route1 (It costs RMB 35 ($5.5) and takes about 90 munites.) At the Exit of Terminal One, take the Shuttle NO.7 to Shanghai South Railway Station. The Price is RMB 20 ($4). Interchange to the Line 1 subway in Xinzhuang ( 莘庄 )direction, then change to the Line 5 subway at Xinzhuang station in Minhang Development Zone direction, and get off at Dongchuan Road station. Take a taxi at Dongchuan Road station, and it takes about 5 minutes to reach the main gate of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (800 Dongchuan Road). Route 2 (It costs RMB 55 ($7.5) and takes about 90 munites.) Take the maglev train from Pudong Airport to Longyang Road station. It costs 40 RMB if you have your plane ticket (or Boardpass). First, take the Line 2 subway at Longyang Road station in Songhong Road direction, and at People s Square station, change to the Line 1 subway in Xinzhuang direction, secondly, change to the Line 5 subway at Xinzhuang in Minhang Development Zone direction, and get off at Dongchuan Road station. Then, take a taxi at Dong Chuan Road station, and it takes you about 5 minutes to reach the main gate of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (800 Dongchuan Road).

Normal taxi charge is about RMB 150, plus 30% night extra charge if after 11:00 PM; Route Indicated by Purple Line: By Public Transportation Route1 (It costs about RMB 18 Yuan ($2.5) and takes about 60 munites.) Take Airport Bus Line No.3 to Xujiahui/Tianping Road. It takes about 1 hour and bus ticket costs RMB 18. From bus stop to SJTU, it takes about 15min by foot or 3~5 min by taxi. along the bus direction for 2 blocks (about 500m) to reach the Xujiahui Square, then turn right and go along Huashan Rd for one block (about 500m), the main gate (1954 Huashan Road, with two stone lions) of SJTU Xuhui Campus is on your left hand side; Route 2 (It costs about RMB 46 Yuan ($6 ) and takes about 75 munites.) Take Maglev Train ( 50 RMB or 40 RMB with flight ticket /Boardpass) to Longyang Road Metro Station, Take Metro Line 2 to Xujiahui Station. Use Exit No. 12.
