(4) optional I graduated from National Taiwan University majoring in Chemical Engineering in 1965. After the service in military, I went to US for the graduate school in University of Connecticut in 1966. After getting my degree in 1970, I started my industry career. I started with a process technology company in New Jersey/New York in R/D. In 1977, I moved to Houston working in the manufacturing area. I moved back to Philadelphia in 1981, due to the change of company ownership. In 1985, I made the most important decision in my life to change my career path from technical to commercial area. I moved back to Asia Pacific region and lived in several different countries, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. I retired in 2008 and moved back to US. I have two boys and a daughter with four grandchildren. All my children are in San Francisco Bay Area and work in various start-up or venture capital firms. My wife and I split our time between Philadelphia and San Francisco. Currently I have been retained as consultant for two companies and worked about half of my time. This also gives me the opportunity to visit Asia region occasionally. Page 33 of 76
