Tubo Archeology and Tubo Civilization Huo Wei (Tibetan Studies Institute, Sichuang University Chengdu, Sichuan 610000) Abstract: The paper, from the archeological perspective, discusses the intimate relation between Tubo archeology and Tubo civilization. It states that Tubo archeology is not only the important part of Tubo history study, but, at the same time, different from the traditional Tubo history study, which takes literature study as its main source, on study materials, methodology and perspective. The paper also reviews the academic history of Tubo archeology and comments on the new issues because of the new materials found in recent years and predits on its study prospect.
