4 歷史 及 現況簡介 A Brief History and Recent Development 基少年制服組織 至今已有129年歷史 其創辦人威廉 督少年軍(The Boys Brigade)源自英國 是歷史上首個青 亞歷山大 史勿夫爵士於年輕時是一位教會的主日學老師 他感到傳統的主日學模式難以滿足少年人的好奇心和好動的 個性 所以善用其義勇軍人的背景 把團隊精神和軍事紀律 融合在宗教活動中 以更多元化的方式教育少年人 史勿夫 爵士於1883年10月4日召集了約60名少年人 在格拉斯哥的 學院自由教會舉行集隊儀式 時至今日 基督少年軍已成為 一國際性宣教運動 在世界各地約有60多個國家有基督少年 軍組織的成立 香港基督少年軍則於1959年開始在香港正式 發展 核心服務包括 制服團隊服務 迄今 至2012年3月底 已有305支分隊成立 總成員超 過11,500人 分隊遍佈港九新界 分別隸屬於基督教不同宗 派的教會 基督教或沒有宗教背景的中學 小學 幼稚園 國際學校 特殊學校 青少年中心 家庭服務中心 和弱智 人士庇護工塲及宿舍 分隊每週集隊一次 透過基督教教 育 步操 技能教授 體能訓練 社交技巧訓練等 再配合 不同級別的獎勵和晉升計劃 使隊員在身 心 靈方面得到 均衡的發展 培養他們成為愛主的基督徒 青少年領袖及社 會中的良好公民 訓練及拓展服務 轄下主要單位包括位於馬灣挪亞方舟的臻訓中心及臻品 中心 大埔訓練學校 臻訓中心專門為基督少年軍導師 隊 員 學校 教會 機構及商界員工提供多項專業培訓服務 內容包括領袖潛能 團隊溝通 解難能力 個人成長等 此 外 臻訓中心更負責提供挪亞方舟跨越奇園之繩網及歷奇活 動 訓練學校是本會一個為教會及分隊提供的集訓及退修的 營地 而臻品中心是本會最新拓展的服務 透過各類活動培 養青少年的良好品格 學校社會工作服務 為本地中學提供駐校專業輔導服務 支援青少年及其家 庭之社交心理需要 T he Boys Brigade was originated in Scotland of United Kingdom, which was the world s first uniformed organization for youth. It has a history of 129 years. Sir William Alexander Smith, our Founder, who was a Sunday school teacher of a church. He felt that traditional Sunday school approach was hard to satisfy the curiosity and energetic disposition of youths. Thus, he made good use of his background as a Volunteer of Military Force, integrated the elements of team spirit as well as military discipline into the existing religious activities. On 4 Oct 1883, he gathered about 60 youths at the College Free Church in Glasgow and started the first parade. Nowadays, The Boys Brigade has already become an international mission movement, with Companies established in over 60 countries worldwide. The Boys Brigade, Hong Kong (BBHK) was started in Our core services include: Uniformed Group Service We have now (up to the end of March 2012) 305 Companies established, with more than 11,500 strong membership. They are affiliated to various churches of different denominations, secondary schools, primary schools, kindergartens, international schools, special schools, youth centres, family service centres; and sheltered workshops cum hostels for the mentally handicapped, with Christian or non-christian background. These Companies meet once a week and they aim to assist a balance development of members body, mind and spirit, and to nurture them into committed Christians, youth leaders and good citizens of the society through the teaching of Christian truth, foot drill, life skills, social skills and physical training at different levels of complexity and awards. Training and Development Service There are three main units under T&D Service, including Anchor House and Stedfast House in Noah s Ark, Training School in Tai Po. Anchor House offers tailor-made professional training services to our Uniformed Group members, schools, churches, organizations & corporate firms, in which the main theme include leadership development, team communication, problemsolving, and self-development. Anchor House also manages and provides the rope course and adventure-based services of Noah s Adventureland in Noah s Ark. Training School is another service unit that provides campsite service for training and retreat purpose. Stedfast House is a new developed centre that aims to build up positive youth character and moral values. School Social Work Service We offer in-school professional counselling services to local secondary schools, giving support to the social and psychological needs of young people and their families. 2 BBHK Annual Report

5 執行委員會主席的話 Message from the Chairperson of the Executive Committee 們一直看重細水長流的關係 若沒有教會 學校 機我構 導師 隊員 家長 同工及眾弟兄姊妹一起同心同行, 深信沒有今天的基督少年軍運動 過去一年, 藉主在眾執行委員會成員的帶領下, 我們作了機構的全面檢視, 包括優勢 弱項 機遇與挑戰 喜見近年服務開始走向多元化及面向公眾, 包括臻訓中心 臻品中心 環保回收中心的發展 內地將繼續發展社工專業, 由深圳伸延至廣東省, 再發展至全中國, 可藉此機會建立內地社會服務網絡 迎向未來申請新會址的機遇, 盼望事工更多走入社群 一切都源於關係, 多建橋樑, 拆掉圍牆 藉天父上帝帥領我們, 我深信凝聚各持份者的力量, 繼續賦予理想和使命, 少年軍運動必能在社會上走得更前, 幫助建立有品格 有生命素質的年青人, 貢獻社會, 服務社群, 發熱發光! 正如中國金牌運動員劉翔所言 : 只有更多的驚喜在等待著我 是的, 只有更多的驚喜在等待著少年軍運動 神能照着運行在我們心裡的大力, 充充足足的成就一切, 超過我們所求所想 ( 以弗所書 3:20) 請大家同心協力繼續為基督少年軍運動禱告 願主祝福大家 潘香強先生 Mr. Allan POON Heung-keung How we treasure relationships that have been cultivated over a long period of time! Without the hearty companionship of churches, schools, organizations, Officers, Brigaders, parents, colleagues, brothers and sisters, I don t think The Boys Brigade (BB) movement could have thrived as it has today! In the past one year, the Lord has enabled the leadership of our Executive Committee members to make a comprehensive check-up on the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges on our organization. We are pleased to see that services offered in recent years have become more varied and are capable of serving a wider public sector as a result of the establishments of our Anchor House, Stedfast House, Waste Recovery Scheme. As for Mainland China, we will continue to share our social work professionalism, taking every opportunity offered to us to develop Mainland China social work network, starting at Shenzhen, extending into Guangdong Province and eventually reach the rest of China. As we face an impending opportunity to apply for a new site for our headquarters, we have hope to yet take our services deeper into our local communities. Everything starts with good relationship, which can be likened to more on building bridges of communication while taking down walls of obstruction to it. Through the leading of our Father God, I firmly believe He will continue to grant vision and mission, if we pool together all resources offered by every BB sector involved. As China s Olympic Gold Medalist Mr Liu Xiang said, Only more nice surprises are waiting for me. Yes indeed, only more nice surprises are waiting for the BB movement! Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory throughout all generations. 6 總幹事報告 Report from the General Secretary 上帝恩典, 讓基督少年軍運動不斷擴展,2012 年度我們蒙的會員人數共有 10% 增長, 超過 11,500 人, 並與 200 多間不同宗派教會及接近 100 間學校緊密合作, 讓青少年人得著紀律 品格 領袖 團隊之全人訓練, 更重要是信仰的氛圍及培育, 使之成為教會及社會的未來棟樑 基督少年軍小綿羊組別是服侍 3 至 5 歲的幼稚園學生, 自推動以來已超過 1,000 人, 成績理想 是年度會以 讓家庭變得有愛 為主題, 繼續推動愛家庭運動 此外, 是年度亦首推臻睦中心社區回收計劃, 積極將服務推展至社區層面, 並為雙失青年締造就業及提升工作效能的機會 面對前面未可知的道路, 少年軍運動的發展仍充滿挑戰和艱巨 但我深信, 只有把持著信念和堅毅不屈的精神, 終有一天能夠實現夢想 每一個時代, 總要有一群願意委身的領袖為下一代的福祉獻上自己, 你會是其中的一個嗎? 一粒麥子不落在地裡死了, 仍舊是一粒, 若是死了, 就結出許多子粒來 ( 約翰福音 12:24) 吳淑玲女士 Ms. Angel NG Suk-ling By God s grace, The Boys Brigade (BB) movement has been allowed to expand continuously. Our membership has had a 10% growth since the start of 2012, effectively adding our head count to over 11,500. We have closely cooperated with more than 200 churches of varying denominations, and with almost 100 schools in bringing whollistic trainings to young people, shaping their lives in areas of self-discipline, characterforming, leadership, team spirit, and most importantly the introduction and nurture of christian faith, so that they may become future pillars of churches and society. BB s Anchor Lamb serves 3-5 years old kindergarten students. Its membership now stands satisfactorily at over 1,000. This year we will continue to promote Love Family Project under the theme of Let Family Embraces Love. Moreover, this year has seen the establishment of Waste Recovery Scheme where we pilot a recycling scheme for the local communities, enabling our services to reach further into the society. By doing so, we are able to generate job opportunities and to improve the working efficiency of youths who are both out of school and out of job. As we are facing a largely unknown future, the way forward for BB movement is still full of daunting challenges. However, I do trust that by holding fast to what we believe in, and keep pressing on, our dream will still be realised one day. Every era has its blessing of committed leaders who are willing to lay down their lives for the sake of their next generation. Are you one of them? 7 總部活動 Headquarters Activities 事工紀要 Events Highlight 2011 年創辦人紀念日大會操暨感恩崇拜 (2011 年 10 月 30 日 ) Founder s Day and Thanksgiving Service 2011 (30 Oct 2011) 是項盛事假小西灣運動場舉行, 本會非常榮幸邀請了英國及愛爾蘭基督少年軍榮譽會長 Mr. John Neil OBE 擔任檢閱官, 及本會副會長 基督教香港崇真會總牧羅祖澄牧師擔任感恩崇拜講員 當天接受檢閱的導師及隊員超過 1,800 人, 總入場人數為 5,400 人, 當中包括 114 支分隊 家長及嘉賓 本會亦於會操後向導師及隊員頒發勳章及獎章 This annual event was successfully held at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground. We were honored to have Mr. John Neil OBE, Brigade Honorary President of The Boys Brigade United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland to be our inspector; and Rev. LO Cho-ching, our Brigade Vice-President and the Dean of Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong, to share the Bible message with us. Over 1,800 members were inspected and a total of 5,400 Officers, Brigaders and parents from 114 companies participated in the event. We also presented award medals and badges to our committed Officers and our outstanding Brigaders 年步操比賽 (2011 年 12 月 11 日 ) Drill Competition (11 Dec 2011) 是年度步操比賽假東涌靈糧堂舉行, 共有 15 支分隊參與主席盃及會長盃 比賽, 接近 300 人到場觀賞 是次比賽賽果請參閱第 48 頁 The Drill Competition was held in Tung Chung Ling Liong Church. 15 companies participated in the Chairman s Cup and President s Cup competition, with nearly 300 people came to watch the competition. 8 年讀經運動暨聖經問答比賽 (2011 年 1 月至 9 月 ) Bible Reader Scheme and Bible Quiz (Jan - Sep 2011) 此活動乃與香港讀經會合作, 目的為鼓勵初級組及中級組持續閱 讀聖經 經過 8 個月的推動, 本會於 2011 年 10 月 5 日招聚參加者一同分享讀經的心得, 並舉行聖經問答比賽, 共有來自 14 支分隊約 300 名隊員參加 是次比賽結果請參閱第 48 頁 This activity was jointly organized by our organization and the Scripture Union of Hong Kong so as to encourage regular bible reading among Junior Sections and Company Sections. After 8 months of encouragement, around 300 Brigaders from 14 Companies gathered on 5 Oct 2011 to share their bible reading experiences and took part in a Bible Quiz. For the result of the competition, please refer to Page 愛共享社會服務 (2011 年 12 月 24 日至 2012 年 1 月 1 日 ) Sharity - Social Service Project 2011 (24 Dec Jan 2012) 是年的愛共享社會服務由恆常探訪長者改為舉行 Sharity 愛共享四川服務之旅,33 位隊員出發前往四川及深圳, 探訪及關顧四川地震的受災者 This year, the social service project Sharity has changed from regularly visiting senior citizens to a Mainland trip called the Sharity Trip to Sichuan. 33 Brigaders went to Sichuan and Shenzhen to visit and express concern to victims of the Sichuan Earthquake 年週年會員大會 (2011 年 6 月 26 日 ) Annual General Meeting 2011 (26 Jun 2011) 2011 年度週年會員大會假基督教崇真中學舉行, 共有 140 人出席 會議就本會的事工報告 事工計劃 財政報告及財政預算等進行商討和通過, 並且選出 年五位新任執行委員會成員 同時, 會上亦頒發了各導師獎項和賣旗籌款等獎項 AGM 2011 was held at Tsung Tsin Christian Academy with 140 Officers attending the meeting. Matters including work reports, future plans, financial reports and budgets were discussed and endorsed. 5 new Executive Committee members for years were elected during the meeting. 9 年度導師日聚餐 (2011 年 6 月 26 日 ) Officers Dinner (26 Jun 2011) 緊接著週年會員大會, 導師日聚餐於同一晚進行 當晚延開 49 席, 超過 600 多人參加 不少導師獲頒發各委員會 工作小組及教練之委任狀和各項訓練課程的證書 Officers Dinner took place in the same night right after AGM. Over 600 people took part in the banquet, occupying 49 tables. Many Officers were presented with commissioning certificates for various committees, working groups and coaches and certificates for training courses. 制服團隊訓練 Uniformed Group Training 導師基本訓練及進深訓練課程 Officers Basic & Advanced Training Courses (OBTC & OATC) 自上年度導師基本訓練課程改為單元制後, 是年度本會積極提升課程的內容及質素, 透過專業的性向分析問卷, 讓參 加者更認識自己 更了解分隊導師及隊員的特點, 提升分隊導師及隊員之間的溝通及合作性 本會除舉辦多個恆常進深訓練課程外, 也邀請外間講員開辦不同類別的工作坊 The Officers Basic Training Course has adopted the module system since last year. This year, we strived to improve the content and quality of the courses. Participants could know more about themselves and characteristics of company Officers and Brigaders through professional personality questionnaires, so as to enhance the communication and cooperation between Officers and Brigaders. Apart from regular advanced courses, we also invited guest speakers to hold different workshops. BBHK Annual Report 7

10 基本小隊長及深資小隊長訓練課程 Basic & Advanced Non-commissioned Officer s Training Courses (BNCO & ANCO Training) 是年度共舉辦了 4 期小隊長訓練課程, 訓練超過 100 名隊員 在 2011 年 8 月更在挪亞方舟舉行 小隊長訓練課程結業操, 邀請學員家長 分隊導師 朋友出席, 見證及分享畢業學員的喜悅 當天接近 400 名來賓出席 4 NCO Training Courses were held this year, over 100 Brigaders participated in these courses. We organized the NCO Training Courses Passing-Out in August 2011 at the Noah s Ark, inviting parents of the NCOs, Officers from their respective companies and their friends to witness and share the joy with graduating Brigaders. Around 400 guests attended the event that day. 專章考核 Award Training Examination 本年度共舉辦 22 次中央考核, 共有 657 名隊員報名參加考核, 缺席率約 22%, 整體合格率約 63% 而部份專章考核如游泳 遠足 露營的合格率更超過 80% 22 joint-company award training examinations were arranged this year and an aggregation of 657 Brigaders applied for the exams. The overall absent rate was 22%. The overall passing rate was 63%, while the passing rates of certain badges, such as the Swimming Badge, Expedition Badge and Camping Badge, were over 80%. 軍樂隊 BB Band 軍樂隊致力透過表演及訓練, 服務基督少年軍 基督教團體及其他社會服務機構 是年度軍樂隊積極加強樂員的練習及培訓新加入的樂員, 為各項紀念活動的演出作最佳準備 表演服務方面, 軍樂隊應邀表演共 16 次, 服務超過 30,000 人次 The BB Band has been serving BBHK, Christian organizations and other social-service organizations through performances and training courses. The band put much effort in practising and training newcomers this year in preparation for performances in various celebration activities. We were invited to perform in 16 activities in total, serving more than 30,000 people. 8 BBHK Annual Report

11 輔助隊 Auxiliary Unit (AU) 除了恆常訓練內容, 輔助隊亦繼續協助總部籌辦導師基本訓練課程 跨越奇園繩網訓練 山野領袖訓練及遠足教練訓練課程等活動和各項週年活動, 令更多導師得到裝備, 推展基督少年軍運動 Apart from regular trainings, AU kept on providing assistance to the Headquarters for organizing different training courses, including OBTC, the rope course training in Noah s Adventureland, M o u n t a i n L e a d e r C o u r s e ( M L C ), Expeditions Instructor Course (EIC), and all annual programs. More Officers were equipped through these courses, and afterwards they can help promoting the BB Movement. 見習導師分隊 Officer Cadet Company (OCC) 見習導師分隊是為各分隊培養未來接班人而成立, 隊員需要接受為期 6 個月的訓練, 再加上 10 次的分隊實習, 了解不同分隊的運作模式, 為將來服侍分隊作好準備 本年度分隊畢業學員共 12 人 The Officer Cadet Company is established to train successors for all companies. Cadets will attend a 6-month training course with an addition of 10 practical sessions in different companies, where they can learn about operating styles in different companies and get prepared to serve in companies in the future. There were 12 graduates this year. 儀仗隊 Ceremonial Company (CC) 儀仗隊於 2011 年 2 月 20 日正式成立, 其成員主要是來自分隊導師及隊員, 其成立的目的是代表香港基督少年軍出席會內及會外的典禮及步操表演 本年度曾參與及協助之活動包括金紫荊廣場升旗禮 制服團體日 五四升旗禮等 除此之外, 儀仗隊亦會定期進行花式步操練習 CC was established on 20 February Members of CC are mainly Officers and Brigaders from different companies. CC is established to represent BBHK to participate in ceremonies and drill competitions organized by both BBHK and other organizations. This year, CC took part and served in activities including the Flag Raising Ceremony at The Golden Bauhinia Square, UG EXPO and 5.4 Flag Raising Ceremony. Furthermore, CC also practises fancy drill regularly. BBHK Annual Report 9

12 分區化進展 Progress of Districtisation 五區主要活動剪影 Major Events Highlight among 5 Districts 綜觀過往一年, 五區所舉辦的訓練和活動都有增長 訓練方面, 包括基本小隊長訓練和資深小隊長訓練課程 露營章 遠足章 獨木舟章 步操章 海員章 安全章 游泳章 急救章 通訊章 樂員章 藝術章等中級組專章訓練課程及初級組小領袖訓練營等 活動方面, 分別有以隊員為主的步操比賽 籃球比賽 填色比賽 祈禱計劃和參觀活動 ; 另有以導師為對象的導師團契 祈禱會 退修會及專題工作坊等 部份區更製作區報和網上見證, 加強凝聚力 此外, 各區亦與制服團隊部同工配搭, 探訪分隊和出席分隊的立願禮 Over the past year, there was an increase in the number of training programs and activities held by all five District Committees. Examples of trainings included BNCO & ANCO Trainings, Badges Training courses for Company Sections (e.g. Camping Badge, Expedition Badge, Canoeing Badge, Drill Badge, Seamanship Badge, Safety Badge, Swimming Badge, First Aid Badge, Communication Badge, Bandsman Badge, Art Badge, etc.) and leadership training camps for Junior Sections. They also organized various Brigader-based activities, including drill competitions, basketball competitions, colouring competitions, prayer schemes and visitations. Other than that, Officer-based activities, such as Officers fellowships, prayer meetings, retreats and workshops, were also held. Some districts also produced newsletters and e-testimonies for enhancing the cohesion among district members. 13 九中區 參觀國泰城 KC District Visit Cathay Pacific City 九東區 初級組步操訓練營 KE District Junior Section Drill Train ing Camp 九東區 區委員探訪澳門基督少年軍 KE District District Committee Visited The Boys' Brigade, Macau 福音活動及社會服務 Gospel Activities & Social Services 宣道100週年閱讀嘉年華 2011年4月8-13日 China Alliance Press Centennial Reading Carnival (8-13 Apr 2011) 本會獲邀於 宣道100週年閱讀嘉年華 參展 活動於尖沙咀街坊 福利會舉行 吸引各界人士出席 本會亦於期間舉辦兩場講座 讓參加 者加深了解本會的事工發展 We were invited to set up a booth in the China Alliance Press Centennial Reading Carnival, which was held in Tsim Sha Tsui Kai-fong Welfare Association. People from all sectors had joined the carnival. Around 140 members from 11 companies in total joined the two events. 樂施毅行者 2011 (2011 年 11 月 日 ) Oxfam Trailwalker 2011 (11-13 Nov 2011) 本會動員約 80 名義工支援毅行者活動, 以支持樂施會在本港 中國內地 非洲及亞洲等地區推行扶貧救災工作 We mobilized about 80 volunteers to support the Trailwalker activity, which is aimed at raising funds for Oxfam s work of poverty reduction and disaster relief in places like Hong Kong, Mainland China, Africa and Asia. 金紫荊廣場升旗典禮 (2011 年 11 月 13 日 ) Flag-raising Ceremony at The Golden Bauhinia Square (13 Nov 2011) 民政事務局自 2008 年起, 邀請香港各青少年制服團隊於每月第二個星期日負責 金紫荊廣場升旗典禮 2011 年 11 月 13 日的升旗典禮由本會負責, 本會派出儀仗隊負責升旗儀式, 超過 80 名導師及隊員列隊參與 Since 2008, the Home Affairs Bureau has invited various youth uniform groups in Hong Kong to be responsible for the Flag Raising Ceremony in the Golden Bauhinia Square on the second Sunday of every month. We were in charge of the Flag Raising Ceremony on 13 November 2011, and had sent the Ceremonial Company to carry out the flag raising. 15 品格培育 Character Nurturing 愛 家庭運動 (2011 年 4 至 12 月 ) Love Family Project (Apr - Dec 2011) 本會一直非常重視青少年之品格培育, 近年更不斷推動家庭工作 本會臻品中心於 2011 年 4-12 月舉行 愛 家庭運動, 透過多元化的活動包括講座, 手工藝工作坊, 親子歷奇活動等, 宣揚家庭中的核心價值 愛與關懷 責任與專重 溝通與和諧 本會邀請了一班對家庭工作有豐富經驗的講員到分隊舉行不同類型的家長講座及青少年工作坊, 推動親子之間的溝通, 服務超過 550 人次 We always pay attention to nurturing the teenagers character. In recent years, we have been promoting family ministry. Our Stedfast House organized the Love Family Project from April to December It aimed at promoting family core values, such as Love and Concern, Responsibility and Respect and Communication and Harmony, through diverse activities including talks, art craft workshops and parent-child adventurous activities. We invited numerous speakers who were experienced in family ministry to hold various parent talks and teenage workshops in Companies, in order to enhance parent-child communication. We have served over 550 people. 信 望 愛 品格之旅 Faith, Hope, Love Character Nurturing Journey 信 望 愛 品格之旅共服務分隊及團體超過 350 人次 透過活動讓青少年認識聖經中重要的品格特質, 並於分隊 家庭及學校生活中實踐出來 The Faith, Hope, Love Character Nurturing Journey, and has served more than 350 people from Companies and different organizations. In addition, we also assisted the China Baptist Theological College to provide Sociology course to its students. 企業培訓 Corporate Training Services 本年度本會成功獲取運輸署及政府資訊科技總監辦公室等職員團隊訓練標書, 服務逾 100 名公務員 另外, 本會亦為匯豐銀行 美國友邦保險 宏利人壽保險等 60 多間商業機構提供團隊訓練 危機處理及管理人員領導才能等訓練, 服務對象包括部門主管及前線員工, 服務人數 1,500 人 非政府機構訓練 Non-government Organizations & Associations Training This year, we successfully got tenders of staff training service for government departments like the Transport Department and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, serving more than 100 civil servants. 17 學生成長訓練 Students Developmental Training 本年度為 50 多間教育機構, 包括幼稚園 小學 中學及專上學院舉辦學生訓練, 主題涉及個人成長 領袖訓練 親子溝通 紀律訓練等, 服務人數約 4,500 人 This year, we provided training programs for more than 50 educational institutes, including kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, and colleges. Themes of the programs included personal growth, leadership skills, parent-child communication and discipline training, serving around 4,500 people. 其他訓練服務及合作計劃 Other Training Services and Cooperation Projects 是年度與挪亞方舟夥伴的營運機構合辦兒童體驗日營及學校訓練活動套餐 ; 並透過彩虹基金資助逾 10,000 名青少年人免費享用方舟設施及歷奇訓練活動 This year, we worked together with partners of the Noah s Ark to organize children experiencing day-camps and school-based training activities. We also sponsored more than 10,000 teenagers through the Rainbow Foundation to enjoy the facilities in the Noah s Ark and participate in our adventured training programs. 伙伴及資源拓展 Partnership & Resource Development 凝燃愛券 籌款活動 2011 及新年利是十分一 (2011 年 11 月至 2012 年 2 月 ) Love BB Charity Ticket 2011 & One-Tenth of Red Packet Donation (Nov Feb 2012) 除了呼籲分隊向親友銷售 凝燃愛券 外, 本會亦動員分隊於筲箕灣及九龍塘等港鐵站出口進行募捐 整個活動共籌得 243,327 港元 與去年一樣, 我們鼓勵隊員捐出新年利是的十分之一, 並教導隊員樂意奉獻的心, 此活動共 49 支分隊參與, 參與人數約 660 人, 共籌得善款 51,672 港元 Apart from encouraging our members to sell the Love BB Charity Ticket to their friends and relatives, we also motivated them to sell tickets at MTR exits at Shau Kei Wan and Kowloon Tong etc. We have raised altogether HK$243,327 in this activity. Similar to what we did last year, we encouraged Brigaders to donate one-tenth of their red packet money and teach them to be a cheerful giver. 49 companies with around 660 members participated in the event, raising a total amount of HK$51,672. 18 2011 年全港賣旗日 (2011 年 5 月 28 日 ) Flag Day 2011 (28 May 2011) 本會再次獲社會福利署批准於全港各區賣旗, 並成功招募超過 8,500 名義工, 籌得善款 2,139, 港元 扣除行政開支後, 款項將用作新總部會址儲備經費及一般營運經費 We were permitted by the Social Welfare Department to hold a territory-wide Flag Day again this year. We successfully recruited over 8,500 volunteers and raised a total of HK$2,139, After deducting the administration cost, the donation will be used as the New Headquarters Premises Reserve and General Operating Fund. 制服團體日 2011 (2011 年 11 月 19 日 ) UG Day 2011 (19 November 2011) 本會應民政事務局邀請, 參與推廣青少年制服團隊服務, 超過 50 名導師及隊員協助遊戲攤位 展覽和表演 We were invited by the Home Affairs Bureau to participate in promoting youth uniformed groups in UG Day. Over 50 Officers and Brigaders were invited to assist in fun fair counters, exhibitions and performances. 少年軍見證 定期刊載於 身心美 奇妙恩典月刊 Regular Publishing of BB Testimonies on monthly magazine Grateful Heart Wonderful Grace Monthly 由 2012 年 1 月份開始, 本會定期接受 身心美 奇妙恩典月刊訪問, 該雜誌將於每期刊物上刊登名為 少年軍見證 的欄目, 而本會亦邀請不同分隊的導師及隊員受訪, 身心美 奇妙恩典更慷慨地送出每期刊物予本會各分隊 From January 2012, we have been regularly interviewed by the monthly magazine Grateful Heart Wonderful Grace Monthly, and those interviews were published in the BB Testimonies sector in every issue. 20 印尼基督少年軍國際營 (2011 年 6 月 25 至 28 日 ) BB Indonesia International Camp (25-28 Jun 2011) 本會第 88 分隊的導師及隊員參與印尼基督少年軍舉辦的國際交流營, 通過營會多項活動, 隊員有機會接觸及認識來自世界各地的基督少年軍成員 Officers and Brigaders of our 88th Company joined the BB Indonesia International Camp. Through various activities in the camp, Hong Kong Brigaders had a valuable exchange with other Brigaders from all around the world. FDF 丹麥國際交流營 2011 (2011 年 7 月 5 至 17 日 ) FDF Denmark National Camp 2011 (5-17 Jul 2011) 本會派出 18 名導師及隊員參與丹麥國際交流營 2011, 營會總參與人數共有 12,000 人, 本會是亞洲區的唯一代表, 而本會更獲准於丹麥女皇到訪的晚會中以一首國語詩歌 我要向高山舉目 帶領敬拜 We sent 18 Officers and Brigaders to participate in the FDF Denmark National Camp The total number of campers was 12,000 and we were the only Asian representatives in the camp. We were allowed to lead the worship with a Mandarin hymn Lift up My Eyes to the Hills in front of the Queen of Denmark in an evening party. 昆士蘭基督少年軍導師訪港交流 (2011 年 10 月 8 日 ) Hong Kong Visitation of The Boys Brigade Queensland (8 Oct 2011) 來自昆士蘭基督少年軍的導師途經香港並與 10 多位來自不同分隊的隊員分享參與基督少年軍 50 多年的體驗 Officers from the Boys Brigade Queensland came by Hong Kong and shared their experiences of participating in the Boys Brigade for over 50 years with more than 10 Brigaders from different Companies. 18 BBHK Annual Report

During the trip, she also participated in different community services and found the tour very rewarding. 祖國聯繫 Liaison with Mainland China 社研拜訪中國外交部駐香港特派員公署 (2011 年 7 月 6 日 ) The Visitation of the Institute of Social Service Development to the Office of the Communication of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in the HKSAR (6 Jul 2011) 社研派出 22 位會員拜訪中國外交部駐香港特派員公署, 本會亦以會員身份代表出席, 各社研會員皆表示是次活動開闊了其眼界 The Institute of Social Service Development sent 22 members to visit the Office of the Communication of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in the HKSAR. We also joined the visitation as the member of the institute. All institute members said that this visitation broadened their horizons 粵港澳青年文化之旅 (2011 年 7 月 日 ) Guangdong, Hong Kong & Macau Youth Exchange Tour 2011 (12-21 Jul 2011) 本會獲邀參與青少年內地考察活動, 參加者來自不同制服團隊及青少年團體 活動重點是讓參加者了解中國過去的歷史, 並藉此讓三地青少年互相認識, 促進文化交流 We were invited to take part in a teenage Mainland study tour. Participants came from different uniform groups and youth organizations. The tour focused on helping participants to know more about Chinese history. 22 同心同根萬里行 2011 (2011 年 7 月 25 日至 8 月 1 日 ) HK Uniformed Groups 10,000 Miles Friendship Trek 2011 (25 Jul - 1 Aug 2011) 是年度活動藉參觀中山陵 抗日戰爭紀念館 總統府等地, 讓參加者回顧中國過去一百年的社會變革及歷程, 深入了解歷史事跡及體會國家的現況和發展 本會共派出 10 支分隊,4 名導師及 20 名隊員參與 隊員參加活動後, 均表示很高興認識到其他制服團體的隊員, 而且加深了對祖國的認識 This year, the trek led participants to visit places such as the Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum, the Museum of the War of Chinese People s Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the Office of the President. Participants were able to review the social reforms and development in China in the last 100 years. They could also acquire in-depth knowledge of historical events and get exposed to the country s current situation and development. We send 4 Officers and 20 Brigaders from 10 Companies to join the trek. After the trek, Brigaders were all pleased to meet members from other uniform groups and had enhanced their understanding overs the home country 澳門短宣體驗暨步操交流營 (2011 年 8 月 10 日至 14 日 ) Short-term Missionary and Drill Camp in Macau 2011 (10-14 Aug 2011) 是項計劃由本會及澳門基督少年軍合辦, 活動地點包括澳門及番禺 希望藉此加強港澳兩地少年軍的交流, 並透過參與短宣及社區服務工作, 讓福音能進入當地的社區, 並祝福更多澳門居民 Co-organized by the Boys Brigade Macau and us, the program took place in cities including Macau and Panyu. We hoped the trip could enhance the interaction between Brigaders in Hong Kong and Macau. In 2011, we explored our services to places like Dongguan, Guangzhou, Panyu and Zhongshan. 32 香港基督少年軍之友報告 Report from Stedfast Association, Hong Kong 香港基督少年軍之友 ( 下稱少友 )20 周年感恩聚餐暨週年會員大會於 2011 年 11 月 27 日假城景國際舉行, 共 103 人出席 少友一直在支援基督少年軍工作上不遺餘力, 於是年度協助賣旗籌款及捐助 112,868 港元予基督少年軍, 以舒緩其財政壓力 ; 亦捐助 1,000 美金 (7,752 港元 ) 予泰國基督少年軍支援泰國水災問題 此外, 少友於是年度共頒發 28 個獎學金予各成績優異或經濟上有需要的少年軍隊員, 金額合 34,000 港元 精品廊推出不少新產品, 包括快乾毛巾 運動風褸及黑色圓領 T- 恤等 總括而言, 少友整體財政狀況理想, 總收入扣除所有開支, 純利共約 15 萬港元 The Stedfast Association, Hong Kong Limited (SAHK) held its 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving Banquet and Annual General Meeting on 27 November 2011 at The Cityview. 103 people participated in the banquet. As always, SAHK spared no effort to support BB s work. This year, it helped to raise fund on the Flag Day and donated HK$112,868 to BB for easing its financial pressure. They also donated US$1,000 (around HK$7,752) to the Boys Brigade in Thailand for tackling the local flood problem. In addition, SAHK issued 28 scholarships with an aggregation amount of HK$34,000 to outstanding Brigaders or Brigaders with financial needs. BB Shop launched a number of new products, including quick dry towels, sporty jackets and round neck black t-shirts. Generally speaking, SAHK s overall financial condition is satisfying. After deducting all expenditures from the total income, the net profit was approximately HK$150,000. 委員會及工作小組報告 Reports from the Committees and Working Groups 分隊工作事務 Company Affairs 分隊工作委員會 ( 下稱分工會 ) 於是年度通過 隊員成長簡介 參考文件, 清楚列出各組別的訓練和發展重點, 尤其針對 16 至 21 歲的年齡組群, 為他們安排最合適的培訓出路 就小綿羊方面, 已提出有助發展的元素 在分區化發展方面, 已開始在各區委員會層面收集意見 此外, 分工會通過多份禮儀指引, 內容與升國旗 旗隊進場 晚禱歌及立願禮等, 並獲執委會通過初級組於寒冷天氣期間可選擇穿著長褲 This year, the Company Work Committee (CWC) has passed a reference document called A Brief Introduction To Brigaders Developments, pin-pointing the training methods and main areas for developments for each Session, with special emphasis on the group between years old so as to give them the most favourable training options. As for the Anchor Lamb, many factors helpful for its development have also been suggested. With regards to District-wise developments, collection of opinions at the District Committee level has been started. Besides, CWC has accepted a number of etiquette manuals which address details involving flaghoisting, entry for the color party, the song Great God who knowest all our need and re-dedication ceremonies etc. The Executive Committee has also given permission for Junior Section to have the option of wearing long trousers over cold weather. 訓練事宜 Training Issues 訓練委員會 ( 訓委會 ) 繼續修訂中級組各項專章的訓練大綱, 包括目標章 自然章 安全章 通訊章 風帆章 遠足章 海員章 ; 同時修訂創辦人章 委員會更取消體能章二 三級及游泳章二級之中央考核, 進一步下放分隊處理 此外, 訓委會關注中央考核的缺席率, 並探討改善方案 適逢軍樂隊即將慶祝 40 週年, 訓委會負責督導首次舉辦的總部分隊聯合立願禮 30 BBHK Annual Report

33 The Training Committee (TC) has continue to amend the training syllabuses of awards for the Company Section, including the Target Badge, Naturalist s Badge, Safety Badge, Communications Badge, Sailing Badge, Expedition Badge, and Seamanship Badge, even that of the Founder s Badge has also been revised. TC has cancelled centralized examinations for Physical Training Badge (stage 2 & 3) and for Swimming Badge (stage 2), and has given authority to local companies to deal with their own assessments instead. TC is also concerned with rate of absence over centralized examinations, and is looking into how things could be improved. Since BB Band will be celebrating its 40th anniversary, TC will oversee this first ever joint Enrollment Service for the four Companies under Headquarters. 社會服務 Social Services 社會服務委員會 ( 下稱社委會 ) 負責督導臻訓中心 臻品中心和學校社工部的發展方向和策略 委員會亦就著社會環境和資助模式的轉變, 深入討論機構的社會服務發展方向 The Social Services Committee (SSC) is responsible for supervising the directions for development and strategy of Anchor House, Steadfast House and School Social Work Division. SSC will delve deep in their discussion the direction of social services in response to changes in the mode of subsidy and in the society. 國際及內地事工 International and Mainland Ministry 國際及內地事工委員會 ( 下稱國委會 ) 於本年度加強對澳門基督少年軍的支援, 派出同工列席其執委會 委員亦積極跟進於深圳以基督少年軍訓練模式服侍青少年 此外, 委員會繼續舉辦或推動分隊參加多項交流活動, 並為於 2012 年底於香港舉行的亞洲基督少年軍第一屆導師團契作出準備 The International and Mainland Relations Committee (IRC) has been strengthening support to The Boys Brigade, Macau by having one of our staff sitting in the meeting of their Executive Committee. IRC is also following up how to serve the youths in Shenzhen with the Boys Brigade s methods. Apart from this, IRC will continue to hold or promote exchange programs for companies, and is now making preparations for the first ever BB Asia s Officers Fellowship being held in Hong Kong at the end of 財政事務 Financial Affairs 財務委員會就本會財政狀況作監控和計劃, 並積極探討各項投資儲蓄計劃, 確保健康理財 Our financial condition of BBHK is being monitored and planned by the Finance Committee, which has diligently researched into investment and saving schemes so as to ensure health in our financial situation. 新會址的探討進程 The Investigative Progress for a New Headquarter 隨著服務不斷的擴展, 總部地方不敷應用 新會址發展委員會於去年曾約見政府有關部門分享服務拓展計劃及爭取申請社區用地用作長遠發展用途 The continuing expansion of our services has posed great strain in the use of headquarter space. Last year, the New Headquarter Development Committee asked to meet the relevant departments in the Government to share our plans for expansion, and to lobby for a community land application for long-term development purposes. 檢視及優化中級組 Review and Renewal of Company Section 為了回應執委會關注中級組的流失情況和長遠發展, 中級組優化研究小組 ( 下稱小組 ) 於 2011 年中成立, 並議定小組工作範圍為分析及檢視影響中級組之關鍵元素, 提出前瞻性的意見及可行策略 小組已展開兩次問卷調查, 對象分別為分隊隊長 / 中級組負責人及中級組隊員 小組並於問卷調查後, 再舉行兩次集思會聆聽意見, 對象分別為小隊長及導師 小組將向執委會提交報告 In response to Executive Committee concern for the loss of Brigaders from Company Section and for its long-term developments, the Company Section Review Working Group was set up in mid-2011, and its job is to analyse and review the critical factors that affect the Company Section, whereby forward-looking suggestions and workable strategies could be proposed. The group has conducted two surveys, with questionnaires aiming at Captains, those who hold positions as well as Brigaders in Company Section. After the surveys, the group held two respective sessions to gather in more opinions, especially from NCOs and Officers. We will hand in a report to the Executive Committee. BBHK Annual Report 31

34 部門報告 Departmental Reports 制服團隊部 Uniformed Group Division 推廣及宣傳事工 Expansion and Promotion 門於年度內繼續積極向全港基督教教會 學校及青少年或家庭服部務單位, 推介基督少年軍事工, 以配合不同單位的需要, 發展青少年福音工作 除了到不同的教會及中 小學進行數十次事工分享會和基督少年軍主日外, 亦向各基督教幼稚園發邀請信, 推介開辦 小綿羊, 而且成效尚算理想, 於本年度成立的分隊當中, 有七支分隊開辦小綿羊組別 隨著成員人數增加及隊員快樂地成長, 少年軍運動於香港增加了知名度, 分隊亦相應成立不同的組別, 以承接隊員繼續參與基督少年軍 此外, 總部亦嘗試運用社交網站配合總部網頁, 讓各成員和公眾人士能更容易取得總部的各項資訊 This year, UGD continues to be actively promoting The Boys Brigade among Hong Kong s Christian churches, schools, and units that serve youths and families, tailor-making programs for different units to aid youth gospel ministry. Apart from participating in vision-sharing meetings and BB Sunday services held in churches, primary and secondary schools, we sent off invitation letters to various Christian kindergartens to promote the inauguration of the Anchor Lamb, and with reasonable outcome since 7 of all the Companies established this year are of the Anchor Lamb. As BB membership number increases accompanied by jovial growth among its members, BB movement has spread its fame wider, and as a result, Companies establish various Sections in order to provide a continuing service to their Boys. Besides, BBHQ has also attempted to make use of social websites to collaborate with that of BBHQ, so that BB members and the general public can gain easier access to different information from us. 支援區務發展 關顧分隊需要 Support to the District Development and Care for Companies Needs 區於年度內以舉辦導師團契 祈禱會 各項康樂或競賽活動 探各訪 交流會等, 加強分隊 導師 隊員之間的溝通和友誼, 彼此服侍 互相支持 除五區以外, 總部亦推動多項跨區合作的大型活動, 如賣旗日 創辦人紀念日大會操暨感恩崇拜 愛家庭運動 步操比賽 聖經問答比賽等, 加強各區的彼此合作, 讓不同區的分隊能作合一見證 同工和各委員於期間亦常到訪各分隊, 了解前線導師和各隊員於不同的環境中推行基督少年軍運動的挑戰, 並把他們的需要和建議帶到相關委員會中討論, 期望能更有效地協助各分隊的事工推行 This year, each of our Districts held Officers Fellowships, prayer meetings and various entertaining or competitive activities amidst visitations and cultural exchanges, so that communication and friendship bonding among Companies, Officers and boys could be fortified with mutual help and supports. Apart from the 5 Districts, BBHQ also promoted quite a few Inter- District programs, such as the Flag Day, Founder s Day and Thanksgiving Service, Love Family Project, Drill Competition, Bible Quiz Competition etc. So as to enhance mutual District cooperation, in order that Companies from different Districts together could bear witness to unity. Staff and various Committee members also paid visits to local Companies with an attempt to understand different circumstantial challenges met by front-line Officers and Boys. In the process of promoting BB movement. Their needs and suggestions would be taken back to relevant Working Committees for discussions, with the hope that company work could be aided more effectively. 國際及內地交流活動 International and Mainland Exchange Programs 會一向與亞洲區內各國基督少年軍保持密切聯繫, 與英國基督少本年軍及環球團契 (Global Fellowship) 有定期溝通, 並會向各國友好的訪港安排接待或分隊探訪, 期望為各成員提供合適的國際交流元素 本會非常榮幸, 於 2012 年 10 月邀請了英國及愛爾蘭基督少年軍榮譽會長 Mr. John Neil OBE 來港訪問, 並於創辦人紀念日大會操中擔任檢閱官 此外, 我們亦首次有十多名青少年成員參加丹麥基督教青少年制服團體 (FDF) 五年一度的國際營, 當中除當地隊員外, 亦有來自全球不同團隊的青少年成員出席, 總參與人數逾一萬二千人 ; 此外, 香港與澳門各分隊亦首次進行了聯合訓練營, 亦繼續舉辦 大地愛共行 四川服務之旅 和參與 同心同根萬里行 考察團等, 各參與成員在這些活動中獲益良多, 視野更廣闊, 亦加強他們對基督少年軍的歸屬感 Our organization has always been in close contact with the Boys Brigades from countries within Asia, while maintaining regular communication with the UK Boys Brigade and Global Fellowship, and we would also make arrangements and offer hospitality to overseas friends and Companies as they visit Hong Kong so as to provide a platform for suitable international exchanges. Our organization was very honored to be able to invite Mr. John Neil OBE, who is the Brigade Honorary President of The Boys Brigade United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland to visit Hong Kong and to be our Inspector over our Founder s Day Parade. Besides, for the very first time, we have taken over 10 youth members to take part in Denmark s once-every-five-years FDF s, or Christian youths uniformed organization s international camp. Apart from their local members, youths of different organizations from all over the world also attended, totalling 12,000 people. Moreover, Companies from HK and Macau have held joint training camp while we continue to host the Sharity Trip to Sichuan in order to provide services to Sichuan, and also taking part in cultural exchange through HK Uniformed Groups 10,000 Miles Friendship Trek We are pleased to say that all participants benefited from such activities not only for having their perspectives widened, but also for having their sense of belonging to the Boys Brigade deepened. 部門服務重組 Re-structuring of Department Services 服團隊部本年度全面接手分隊各項訓練及行政工作, 以 一站制式 服務, 向各分隊提供支援, 期間亦整合了一些訓練和行政的程序, 如中央考核 導師和隊員各項訓練的報名等 ; 亦落實了小綿羊和高級組的獎章樣式和執行細節 期望於不久將來能進一步改善網頁 成員資料系統 網上教案資料庫 專章紀錄系統等, 讓各分隊於行政處理上能更輕鬆 This year, UGD has taken over all aspects of training and administrative work concerning the Companies, providing all-through back-up services to all Companies. Some training and administrative procedures have to be restructured, eg. centralized assessments and training enrolment procedures for Officers and Boys. We have also settled the shapes and assessment details of award badges for Anchor Lamp and the Senior Sessions. Internally, we focus mainly on cultivating our Officers and Brigaders through diverse officer training courses, Non-Commissioned Officers training (NCO) courses and joint brigade examinations among companies. Externally, we undertake diverse professional trainings for organizations including enterprises, government departments, non-profit making organizations, tertiary institutions, secondary and primary schools, kindergartens, churches and seminaries. Anchor House operates high rope courses and adventurous activities in the Adventureland of Noah s Ark. Training School is a training and retreat campsite for internal use. Stedfast House mainly promotes youth character building services. Through operating over 20 high rope courses in the Adventureland and diverse adventure-based training, the Anchor House provides professional training services to commercial enterprises, schools, churches and our companies so as to expand our services to all Hong Kong citizens. 臻睦中心 Waste Recovery Scheme 臻荃灣區居民提供廢膠回收服務 每月合共回收近八 睦中心透過地區環保回收中心 為土瓜灣 葵涌和 噸廢膠 並藉回收過程為區內居民提供廢料源頭分類等 環保教育 The Waste Recovery Scheme provides plastic recycling services to residents in Tokwawan, Kwai Chung and Tsuen Wan through district environmental recycling centers. 8 tons of plastic wastes in total are recycled every month. We also provide environmental education about source separation of wastes to residents during the recycling process. 訓練學校 臻品中心 Training School Stedfast House 透內部提供優質集訓及退修營地服務 訓練學校全年 臻培育青少年之關愛意識 以具體行動 實踐基督的 共租用約80日 服務逾1,500人 愛 並從服務中提升個人的協作能力 另外 臻品中心 亦透過推行愛家庭運動 促進青少年人關心家人 建立 和諧家庭 TDD provides high-quality trainings and a retreat campsite to our companies by running the Training School in Taipo. Training School was rented for 80 days in total last year, serving more than 1,500 people. 品中心透過推動服務學習活動 Sharity愛共享 The Stedfast House promotes the Sharity activity, an activity for teenagers to learn to serve, in a hope of cultivating their sense of caring, encouraging them to apply the love of Christ through specific events and enhancing their individual cooperation abilities. 38 學校社會工作部 School Social Work Division 本部自 2000 年 9 月開始為九龍城區四所中學提供駐校服務 服務學校包括旅港開平商會中學 新亞中學 新法書院及東華三院黃笏南中學, 學生人數約 3,600 人 School Social Work Division (SSWD) has stationed social workers in four secondary schools in the Kowloon City District since September 2000, serving schools like Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School, New Asia Middle School, New Method College and TWGHS Wong Fut Nam College, with around 3,600 students. 駐校服務 Stationing Services 本部本年度共處理 299 個個案 ; 其中與情緒 / 精神健康有關的個案有上升之趨勢 除個案輔導外, 我們亦舉辦各類學生成長小組及活動 家長講座 親子溝通小組及教師培訓工作坊 另外, 因應學校服務需要及社署資源的增加, 本部增聘一名學校社工以作支援 In aggregation, 299 cases were handled this year, while the number of cases related to emotional and mental health showed a rise. Apart from providing counseling services, we also held various student development workshops and activities, parents seminars, parent-child communication groups and teachers training workshops. 40 職員培訓及團隊活動 Staff Development and Team-Building Activities 在職培訓津助 本會鼓勵同工積極參與在職培訓, 並提供時間及金錢津助, 以加強同工的專業及服務水平 本年度共有 60 人次申請津助參與 46 項培訓活動, 為時共 792 小時 Subsidy on Staff Development We have made every effort to encourage our staff to take up on-the-job trainings by offering time allowance and financial subsidy, so as to strengthen their professionalism and upgrade their service standard. With a series of team-building segments like Brainstorming Exercise of 3-Year Plan and New Headquarters Fundraising Creative Play, the staff involvement & sense of belongings towards the organization was enhanced. Besides, we prayed for the development of the organization and the individual challenge at work. All of us enjoyed the personal meditation and group worship time.
