Aujourd'hui premier festival culturel étranger en Chine, il est aussi le plus important festival français à l'étranger. Dans une vingtaine de villes, pendant trois mois, environ 1000 artistes viennent à la rencontre d'un public de personnes. Le festival Croisements sonne comme un sésame. Une marque de qualité reconnue par les professionnels de la culture. Un rendez-vous culturel «à la française» aimé du grand public chinois. Un palmarès de créations franco-chinoises. Le festival Croisements, synonyme d'excellence et de prestige, de contemporanéité et d'innovation, reflète les aspirations conjuguées de la France et de la Chine. Depuis sa création, le festival Croisements a toujours eu pour objectif de promouvoir les échanges entre les artistes de nos deux pays, d'approfondir la connaissance mutuelle, et de développer les relations culturelles franco-chinoises. Pour atteindre ces objectifs, le festival Croisements a présenté de nombreuses manifestations pluridisciplinaires riches en contenu et prend de plus en plus d'envergure par son impact sur le public. Il offre un festin culturel au public chinois. C'est un exemple pour les échanges et la coopération franco-chinoise. Je souhaite que la 8 ème édition du Festival Croisements soit couronnée de succès! Since its inception, the Croisements festival has continually had the objective to promote exchanges between artisits from our two countries, deepen mutual knowledge, and develop the cultural relations between France and China. To achieve these goals, the Croisements festival has presented numerous events, multidisciplinary and rich in content, and is thus more extensive in its impact on the public. This offering of a cultural feast is an example of Franco-Chinese exchange and cooperation. I wish for the 8 th edition of the Croisements festival to be a crowning success! The Croisements festival is celebrating its 8th year in Established in 2006 to pursue the cultural momentum that was initiated by what the Chinese called the 'Franco-Chinese cultural spring', during the Franco-Chinese crossed cultural years of 2003 to 2005, it has surpassed its promise. The first foreign cultural festival in China today, it is also the most important French festival abroad. Spanning twenty cities and three months, around one thousand artists will come together for an audience of about 500,000. The Croisements festival has a truly opening effect ; it bears a seal of quality recognized by professionals in culture. The Chinese public love this 'Frenchstyle' cultural encounter, with a prized list of Franco-Chinese creations. The Croisements festival is synonymous with excellence and prestige, the contemporary and the innovative, reflecting the joint aspirations of France and China. The Croisements festival invites you to discover what is actually on in the artistic scene (cinema, literature, music, dance, theater, photography, visual arts, etc.). The programming is set and ready to satisfy everyone's expectations. You will find different types of 'focus', which in past years have captured the hearts of the Chinese public, in the areas of new circus, contemporary dance, digital arts, and Baroque music. The 2013 program offers prestigious performances: classical music, with the Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse, and the concert of the China National Symphony Orchestra directed by Philippe Jordan; in the area of visual arts, with grand heritage exhibitions, and contemporary exhibitions (Duchamp in China, from gesture to language, Arles in Beijing). French cinema will also be honored, as well as contemporary music, in particular with the eagerly awaited Fête de la Musique (Music Day) that will be celebrated in five cities this year. Il détourne la fonction première de l'objet et lui donne une dimension d'œuvre d'art. Le ready-made lancé par le maître, il y a tout juste cent ans, bouleverse le monde de l'art dans le monde entier, y compris en Chine. 7 Arles: une Ecole française / 阿尔勒 : 一所法国学校 / Arles: a French school Le festival de photographie d'arles revient à Pékin pour la quatrième année consécutive sous le label exclusif de la photographie française, grâce à une exposition qui présente cinq artistes sortis de l'ecole nationale supérieure de photographie d'arles. We become curious about the play between mirrors, white walls or interlaced chairs that renders these images as being very introspective. 9 Périphériques et tangentes par Catherine Melin / Catherine Melin 的 环城大道 / Peripheries and Tangents of Catherine Melin L'artiste française Catherine Melin s'inspire des univers urbains pour raconter les mouvements des corps dans la ville. L'exposition est le résultat d'une résidence en Chine, où Catherine Melin a été invitée à s'immerger dans une grande mégalopole en plein développement, pour confronter son langage artistique à cet univers en mouvement où l'urbanisation est poussée à l'extrême. Elle présente le fruit de ses recherches et de son parcours à travers des installations artistiques comprenant des dessins muraux, des dessins sur papier et des vidéos, accompagnées d'un environnement sonore créé par l'artiste Bernard Pourrière avec qui elle a déjà collaboré à plusieurs reprises. 法国艺术家 Catherine Melin 从城市空间得到灵感来讲述城市中身体的运动 该展览是在中国生活的结果,Melin 被邀请融入一个正在发展中的大都市, 以便将她的艺术语言与这个运动中的空间进行碰撞, 而这里的城市化进程已被推到极致 她通过艺术装置向大家展示的是她的研究和她的经历的果实, 而这些艺术装置中包括 : 墙壁上的图画, 纸上的图画和视频, 这些内容同时配有曾多次与她合作的艺术家 Bernard Pourrière 创造的声音环境 French artist Catherine Melin inspired by the urban universe to convey the movements of bodies in the city. The exhibition is the result of a residence in China, during which Melin was invited to immerse herself in a megapolis going through the peak of its development, and confront her artistic language and the moving universe in which urbanization is pushed to its extreme. She presents the results of her research and journey through installations including wall drawings, drawings on paper, and videos, accompanied by a soundscape created by the artist Bernard Pourrière with whom she has collaborated several times. Au printemps 2012, elle est accueillie au centre culturel Rhizome à Lijiang. Elle rencontre des artisans de teinture, de couture, de broderie, de tissage dans le Yunnan et dans le Guizhou. In spring 2012, she was welcomed in the Rhizome Lijiang Art Center. She met artisans working with dye, couture, embroidery, and weaving in Yunnan and Guizhou. Returning in April 2013, Awena Cozannet will go meet the indigo dye and cloth calendering craftsmen of Guizhou, to create new pieces that will be presented at the Guiyang Art Museum. The works will be shown as part of the collective exhibition Crossing views, Interior Journeys, works by French artists who came for residencies in Southwest China (Guizhou and Yunnan): sculptures by Awena Cozannet, paintings and installation by Caroline Muheim, inks and paintings by Marc Aurelle, landscape photography by Marine Lanier, portrait photography by Didier Louineau, and movies by François Lejault.
