Guangdong Insttute of Eco-Envronmenta and So Scence, Guangzhou , Chna Abstract: By synthetcay modeng and anayzng geographc phenomena of and use and and cover change (LUCC) n space and tme, the nherent aw nsde the spata-tempora evouton of LUCC can be expored. Ths knd of spata-tempora anayss provdes a scentfc bass for ratona/optma use of and, whch enabes a sustanabe deveopment of a regon. Based on the and use data from 1990 to 2005, ths paper carefuy anayzed the spata-tempora pattern of LUCC n Pear Rver Deta. Severa spata autocorreaton anayses were mpemented,.e., goba spata autocorreaton anayss, and unvarate/bvarate oca spata correaton anayss. Resuts showed that the goba spata autocorreaton of LUCC n the study area was weak, and the goba and use was random. However, unvarate/bvarate oca spata correaton anayss showed dfferences among dfferent sub-regons and among dfferent perods, whch revea an mbaance of regona deveopment.
