It is found that those five countries or areas have similar objectives and beliefs on governance. For objectivesit mainly includes the governance on high Sex Ratio at Birth and Excess Female Infant Mortalityfor beliefs there are both direct and indirect measuresmeanwhilethose five countries or areas have different structuresmechanismsand tools on governancewhich have led to the differences in governance outcomes. South Korea adopted relative appropriate structuremechanism and toolswhich has contributed to the relative success on governance. Other countries or areas have some limitations on governance structuresmechanisms and tools. Based on the analysis abovethis paper finally provides some policy suggestions for sex imbalance governance in mainland China.
